Aparthotel Quartier Libre Marais

Good location & cleanness especially they provide the laundry service. The only weakness is be careful to double check your booking confirmation as my confirmed bookings were cancelled even though I have paid the full amount of the room rate.

Property not as advertised. Rooms are on an extremely busy street and there is no soundproofing between apartments or in the buildings. Once inside and with windows closed it is like being on a highway. Normal conversation can be heard from room nextdoor. “Reception” is a beat up school desk downstairs which is oddly connected to a run down restaurant. Even during the day the street and car noise is absolutely intolerable. Avoid and do not trust the ******* reviews which must be fake.

The apartment itself is lovely and the neighborhood is great as far as location. Some odd things about the layout that did not match the pictures when I reserved the place. The tv is stuck flat to the wall facing the balcony with nowhere to sit to view it. Cannot turn it towards bed and only other place to sit was at counter facing the wall. I believe from The pictures we were supposed to have a small settle or something to sit on. There was an odd coffee table at the end of our bed but again nothing to sit on around it and it was centered on the rug in front of kitchenette. Images of our room showed either a small sofa against the wall or a small round dinette with 2 chairs. Neither of which existed. As I said pics did not match what we booked and we were frustrated with nowhere to sit inside except bed or facing the wall in a tiny counter. Very late check in time of 4pm. Arrived a tad early hoping to possibly get into our place even 15 minutes early. Only to be told our room was not ready so we waited for about 45 minutes for it to be done. 30 minutes past check in time we finally are allowed Into our room 4:30pm after a long day of travel. Needless to say a few frustrating things that could have easily been solved. Tried contacting via what app link o. The site and it was never looked at. Bummer to not get what you paid for considering it looks like they were giving a discount online that we did not get thru travelocoty.
