Cosy Place in the Hear of Paris!

This property is not a "hotel"!! Be careful!! Absolutely do not make a reservation! The landlord has no intention of letting you stay! Once you make a reservation, you will probably not be able to stay like me, and you will not get your money back. The reviews say that they were able to check in by themselves in the middle of the night without any problems, but that is a "lie"! You cannot check in by yourself or enter the apartment late at night. In fact, the landlord must give you the key directly somewhere outside the apartment building between 6 and 7 pm. Even though it says that the location will be sent by WhatsApp, it is not sent. The only way to contact the landlord is to call them directly. If you call, they will yell at you in French or poor English, saying very emotionally, "This is not a hotel, this is the house where we live. This is a room." Then they will ramble on about how "Because it is a house, you cannot enter or leave after 8 pm until 7 am the next morning. It is written in the house rules," and tell you that "cancellations are not accepted." Indeed, if you read the Trip.com page carefully, after the "No parties" in the house rules, it says, "You cannot access the facility from 8pm to 7am." This does not mean that you cannot receive support from the staff at the facility during that time, but it means that if you go out after 8pm, you cannot return to the apartment until 7am! ​​Also, after the neat photos and great reviews, there is a long summary of the facility written in very small English. I didn't notice it at first and booked it without reading it, but when I tried hard to read it, at the very end it says that a family, including two babies, "lives in the living room" in this apartment, and therefore the living room is off-limits from 10pm to 7am. This is what they mean by "partially shared." It does not mean that the building's entrance lounge or hall are shared. If you think that's impossible! It's a lie! Please read the English text. In other words, to "stay" at this facility, you have to somehow find out where to pick up the key from the owner, who is yelling at you in French and speaks English, and get the key in person between 6 and 7 p.m., and either stay home or come back by 8 p.m. and stay basically locked in your bedroom in a one-bedroom apartment with the landlord who was yelling at you on the phone and a (presumably) unknown French family with two babies living in the living room. I wasn't told how to check in, and I was scared of being confined to the landlord's family every night in Paris, so I didn't stay at this property. Of course, I requested a cancellation and refund from customer support, but although they were kind enough to listen to me, they wouldn't allow me to cancel or get a refund because "it's written in small, hard-to-understand English." I'm still negotiating with customer support.
