HIGHSTAY - Luxury Serviced Apartments - North Marais 1

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. One major drawback: someone with access to the apartment stole my wife’s diamond earrings during our stay. They were hidden in her eyeglasses case, which was sitting on a shelf in one of the bedrooms. Upon returning from sightseeing, we found the eyeglasses case in the washing machine with the eyeglasses still in it, but the earrings were gone and nowhere to be found after an extensive search. We had no reason to put the eyeglasses case in the washing machine, and housekeeping had come while we were gone. We alerted management who sent the housekeeping supervisor to look and to also take apart the washing machine. They denied that one of their staff members could have taken them and have offered us no relief. We also left this truthful review on the Airbnb website, which the owner somehow managed to have removed. If you stay here, be sure to lock up your valuables, and we recommend declining the daily housekeeping service.

We're a family of 4 with two teenagers and stayed in a Premium Apartment at Highstay Le Marais. It was exactly what we expected - clean, contemporary and beautifully appointed. Location was good - close to lots of cafes, restaurants and patisseries. Also walkable to major attractions like Notre-Dame and The Louvre. There isn't an onsite concierge, but communication with the property manager was easy. The building is very secure. Daily housekeeping was great. Would stay here again. Highly recommend.
