Lichnos Beach Hotel & Suites

LICHNOS beach hotel is in a stunning location , a secluded bay , with steep cliffs around it . It is cut off from Parga , which is a 10€ taxi fare away so works out expensive to keep doing the trip in and back but as there is no entertainment at all at the hotel you might get bored otherwise . The drinks at the hotel are too expensive , 4€ for a bottle of water , 6€ for a coffee and 7€ for a beer ! The hotel rates as 5 star so there is an extra 10€ per night added when you check out . So very easy to run up 100s of euros extra on your bill . The beach itself is small stones and very pretty but has steep shelves leading into sea which at times made it very difficult to exit the sea . Your feet sink right into the stones so you have no stability . The staff are very friendly and helpful . The rooms are cleaned to a high standard . I thought it a bit odd that the slippers were replaced every day even tho they were hardly used ! Overall it is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location and if money is no object and you want complete isolation it’s the place for you but sadly due to the high drink prices and lack of entertainment we won’t be returning .

It’s a property on a hill and divided by blocks. There is quite a steep walk to the bar restaurant and beach. The problem when you have to go down a slope. You have to go back up to get to your accommodation The bar was very expensive. €4 for a bottle of water at evening meal time In fact no refreshments were provided at the evening meal not even water. You had to buy all drinks. Tea coffee and water were at breakfast though Repetitive buffet too The beach was a gravel beach but in a lovely bay. It was like walking on cat litter. I see Jet2 have dropped it next summer. The seating area in the restaurant had limited indoor seating with a lot outside and not under cover We had 3 days of rain and struggled waiting for a table so had to walk across to the bar area. Again only a small area had a roof but open at the sides Far too many cats with cat poo on the beach being of a cat litter beach

We were greeted by very friendly reception staff who showed us to our room, which was amazing. It was spotlessly clean, very spacious with a spectacular view. We stayed 11 nights half board, the food was good with plenty to choose from at breakfast and evening meal. The waitresses were really helpful and pleasant. There worked very hard and always had a smile. Well done and thank you to all of you. The chef Demitri was available in the restaurant to make sure everyone was catered for, thank you from Mr James The only negatives about the hotel was the bar prices, no water was served with the evening meal, it had to be purchased at 4 euros a bottle. Cocktails started from 14 euros. The hotel is a 50 minute walk into Parga or a 10 euro taxi drive each way. The hotel is quiet on a evening as most people go into Parga, The hotel has no entertainment. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this hotel is a must.

amazing hotel with great views, we stayed in the beachfront deluxe which was fabulous! Staff friendly, plenty of sun beds for everyone, so no need to rush down in the morning to grab yours! there is a descent/ascent from reception, bear this in mind if you struggle with mobility. Bar prices were 7 euro for 400ml beer (large) 4 euro for a coke & cocktails were around the 14 euro mark, Taxi into Parga was 10 euro 1 way. Parga itself is unreal! loads of bars/restaurants & a great chilled atmosphere (no raving here) Food in the hotel was nice if a little on the cool side, plenty of choice for breakfast, the evening meal was a buffet style which we weren't keen on, so we swapped over to the lunch option which was ordered from a menu (much better) a bit of fuss trying to get this sorted but we got there eventually. I had a nasty fall & slipped down a couple os steps coming out of the restaurant after breakfast (so not alcohol induced!) it was raining (no wet floor signs) and the concrete walkways were quite slippy, I've badly injured my lower back & left forearm, unfortunately bar 1 or 2 staff, no one gave a hoot, 1 particular staff member told me "this happens every time it rains" i was given ice & lurpack butter! No apology or mention of it ever again from any of the management/supervision team, there was a couple of others who had suffered a similar fate with the same care given. This has left a bad impression of the hotel management/supervision team, although it was without doubt one the nicest hotels I've stayed in, I'm not certain i would stay again, i have marked the score on the hotel & not my own experience, just be aware of these hazards

Just returned home after a lovely week here. The hotel is advertised in places as a 5 star, it isn’t, it’s more of a 4 but still very nice. The staff are lovely and the food we had there was good, though perhaps slightly limited. When we arrived we were informed we had been put on the HB dinner package when we wanted lunch instead, this was changed at our request the following day, but it is a shame that there isn’t an option to choose what you want to do day by day, as the menu is the same. The hotel is right on the beach, the beach is lovely and the sun beds and parasols are good quality and part of your package, towels are also provided. There are some suites, closer to the beach, but the main accommodation block which houses the very nice rooms is further back and there is a steep climb to this block which some with mobility issues will find a problem. Although only a couple of kilometres from the centre of Parga, there is no easy walk to the restaurants, bars and shops. I suspect it would take at least 90 minutes one way and it would be a difficult walk for the majority. You will need a car or be prepared to pay a fixed taxi price of €10 each way. We went into Parga 5 days out of 7, so spent €100 just on taxi fares alone. You can find some really good restaurants behind the main promenade in Parga offering really good value, you obviously pay a premium on the front overlooking the sea, but the food was fabulous in all we ate at. Probably the best hotel in the area, but with the caveats mentioned.

Amazing experience. The suite was fabulous, cleaned and organized very well. The staff WONDERFUL. The best staff ever . Friendly, very professional and helpful. Very very kind people. I can not say enough about this place. The place is just perfect, rooms are fantastic and the staff is one of the kind. I will start with Inisa, Esmeralda, Mario, Jota, Christof Donna. These guys are FANTASTIC!!!! They remembered are name every time we went to the restaurant and they never got tired of our requests and demands. Last but not least is the chef, Dimitri. The food every night was exquisite, what a talented man. He even took the time to come out table. We will definitely come back again! Tani Masha from USA

What a great place to decompress and relax for a few days. This hotel is beautiful. Great staff, very helpful and pleasant. The rooms although on the smaller size, are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was a bottle of champagne and some cookies in our room when we arrived. We were on the 4th floor and we had an amazing view of Lichnos Bay, which is one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever been to. Very family friendly and great for children. There are ample umbrellas and very comfortable beach chairs. Breakfast is great. There is a huge selection, from eggs to yogurt to pancakes and everything in between. The bar will gladly make a delicious iced coffee, which is included with breakfast. There is also a good lunch menu right on the beach. Just don’t get a cosmopolitan. It was terrible. For 18 euro, the bartender should be able to serve a good cocktail. Getting into Parga is somewhat of a mission. We had a car, but we were told that parking is a nightmare and that is definitely the truth during high season. The front desk called us a cab, but being that there are a few cabs on the island, getting one back may take a while. We will definitely return here, as we had such a great getaway on such a beautiful beach.
