Che Lagarto Paraty

Reservei dois quartos privativos por duas noites e a experiência deixou muito a desejar. Funcionários extremamente grosseiros e sem a menor empatia, tinha um mergulho marcado cedo e não nos deixaram começar o café da manhã nenhum minuto antes das 8hs para não atrapalhar a rotina deles, sendo que o cafe ja estava todo posto, tivemos que comer correndo. Ao pedirmos pra comecar 5 minutos antes fomos ameacadas dizendo que nos dariam uma advertencia. Quando fomos solicitar o late check-out o funcionário disse que não teria nada disponível, mas quando perguntamos sobre pagar a diária ele logo encontrou disponibilidade. Foram zero flexíveis também ao liberar um banheiro coletivo para nosso banho depois do mergulho, já que não quisemos pagar a diária extra para o late check-out. Pessoal muito despreparado para atender em uma cidade turística e linda como Paraty.

Excellent location: just two blocks from the Historic Center, good infrastructure and attentive staff, always willing to help by indicating the best tours. Perfect place for those traveling alone, as a couple or with friends. I highly recommend it!

I arrived at the hostel and asked if the air conditioning worked as it was very hot in Paraty. And the attendant, with phrases put together visibly observing that it is part of the training, replied: he could not have chosen better. All working. I found a super hot room with mosquitoes… and extremely loud music in the hostel that is only turned off after 10 pm! A true hostel for those who enjoy parties, and don't mind a minimum of organization. I asked for the pix back to go to another location. And the attendant, who didn't even know what he was talking about, replied: It's not possible, ma'am. When I requested to speak to the manager, he did not appear and resolved the pix problem internally. The attendant came back claiming it was a shared room and a Monday and would make an exception. I checked the return of the pix in my account and left there, never to return. I went to Pousada Casa do Rio and loved it…I was welcomed competently by the receptionist, who even showed me the room before I paid…beautiful room, super new bathroom in the room, rich breakfast and a wonderful view. I paid 70 reais...I'll definitely be back.

I was at Che de Paraty in July this year (2023) I had never been to a hostel in my life before and I started off on the right foot, room with bathroom and bed linen, delicious and healthy coffee. The crowd is super relaxed, lively and willing to have fun. I made friends with both guests and Che's staff. I highly recommend it and I'm planning to go back and miss Paraty!! 🤞☀️🏝️

One of the best Hostels I've ever stayed at. Very attentive staff, clean, GOOD VIBES and privileged location next to the historic center. Reception staff Bia, Giovanna, Bruno are very attentive and friendly!! Kitchen girls Amelia, Mia and Argentina from Cordoba very cool!! When I have the opportunity I will stay again or even just to have a cold one with the STAFF staff hahaha!! THANK YOUUUU!! YOU GUYS ARE LEGENDS!!

Impeccable hostel with a great location. Very close to the historic center and shopping center of Paraty. All routes can be done on foot. Che de Paraty has a very pleasant, clean climate and a very cool social area. The staff are great and everyone is super available and helpful. I would like to thank, in particular, Bea and Bruno. They contributed a lot to making my experience in Paraty even better. They recommended incredible tours such as waterfalls, boat trips and the nightlife that was happening in the city. Good room, good atmosphere and very organized. Staff available and polite. Good access and location and the trip to Paraty was really cool, I recommend this hostel. Simple, operational and overall good room.

The Hostel is very good, hot showers, good bed, great location, the people who work there are incredible, especially Bea who works at the reception nuuuu this is so wonderful, my experience in the city with your tips was unforgettable, I'm looking forward to comeback soon!
