Yakinthos was the host site for a world beach wrestling competition and I chose to book a room here because my daughter was competing and I am so glad I did. The staff was outstanding, particularly Yannis! As you can imagine from the pictures, the hotel hosts large reception type events so be prepared for celebratory (loud) parties into the evening. If this is a concern, ask for a room on the far side. The food was outstanding, the evening bar staff was so friendly, and the Hera Suite was fantastic. There is a small convenience store right next door if you need anything, and the small downtown is a quick 15 minute walk for wonderful restaurants and shopping. The beach is just 10 minutes away! A fantastic place to stay with the best staff and service!

Πολύ ευχαριστημένοι , το προσωπικό ένας κι ένας , ωραίο δωμάτιο άνετο και καθαρό, είχαμε μεγάλο μπαλκόνι και με εξυπηρέτησαν με απλώστρα για τα ρούχα. Η πισίνακαι ο χώρος της όμορφος και καθαρός.Το εστιατόριο νόστιμα φαγητά και καλές τιμές στο a la carte καθώς και στον απογευματινό μπουφέ με πολλές επιλογές και όλα νόστιμα. Το πρωινό είχε επιλογές αλλά μερικές ήταν λίγο περίεργες όπως οι πατάτες φούρνου που ήταν και πικάντικες. Θα ξαναπήγαινα σίγουρα

Hotel gunstig gelegen op 800m van de zee en weg van de drukte van de nabijgelegen stadje. We werden heel vriendelijk onthaald. Kamer was in orde, zeer proper, groot terras. Ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreid en veel. Eerste ochtend viel tegen. We waren eerst alleen in de ontbijtruimte. Na 10 min kwamen er 150 mensen binnen gewandeld die op 15 min het hele buffet leeg maakten. Het buffet werd niet meer bijgevuld voor ons. Hun reisleider vond het dan ook nog nodig om te roepen in de zaal om hun uitleg te geven. De 2de morgen was gelukkig het buffet voor ons en het veel rustiger. Tip : verwittigen van de hotelgasten dat ze voor een bepaald uur komen eten voor de massa toekomt, zodat zij er rustig kunnen van genieten. Zwembad is niet zo groot maar wel leuk, vriendelijk personeel;

We spent an amazing wekend on the coaat of Katherini with the help of our friends from hotel Yakinthos. Very warm and helpful people who comforted us the best way possible. They organized an authentic greek experience with tons of fun. The hotel is renovated - very clean, close to the beach but away from the crowds. I absolutely recommend it
