We have been coming to Asimina for 10 years now, sometimes twice a year. For me, it feels like visiting a family estate where I grew up. We celebrated my major life stones at Asimina - exams, school graduation, university times, first job offer, and a wedding. The hotel is truly superb, and for us, it’s a home away from home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beach and pool area is perfectly kept, the breakfast is superb, just like lunch and dinner. We truly love how attentive and welcoming all the staff members are. I was delighted to see that a lot of the senior hotel staff hasn’t changed in a decade. It was a pleasure to speak with everyone and find out they all remember me as a school girl ten years ago and how they saw me grow up over the years. I would like to thank Mr Yiangos E. Yiangou for his top level professionalism and hospitality; Marius for his attention to detail; the lovely ladies at the reception for always being friendly and efficient, Joanna for her care, as well as Mahmoud for superb cooking. We are looking forward to coming back to Asimina very soon!

From the moment we got into our taxi at Paphos airport till the moment we left, was made to feel so special. All the receptionist went above and beyond with a special mention to Anne-Marie who looked after us our entire trip. Met at the airport in private taxi with a bottle of Moet which our driver poured for us. Food in all restaurants was absolutely delicious. Staff again went above and beyond to make sure we had what we wanted. VIP bar staff again looked after us so well. We knew as soon as we returned for our 2nd visit we was going to come back next year and booked as we checked in. Friends joined up a few days in and are also coming back next year. If you like a very chilled atmosphere with the most amazing staff and food. This is the place to go. I can’t see us going anywhere else. Roll on July 2026

I have stayed in some wonderful hotels throughout the world but l can honestly say this is one of the very best. Not only are the main things that you require of a hotel perfect it is the little details that make it stand out from the rest. For example bottled water every night on your bedside table, unlimited beach towels, iced flannels every day at the pool, complimentary fruit smoothies every day poolside to name but a few. The breakfast buffet was excellent with something for everyone including a whole section gluten free and an excellent egg station providing an amazing variation of freshly cooked egg dishes. I can usually find something to critique but truly at this hotel l can’t honestly find a thing. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were attentive and friendly and all the food was delicious. I will certainly be going back next year.

We originally stayed for 12 nights and had a beautiful suite overlooking the pool and sea (room 411). The hotel was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the aqua classes each day and smoothies. All the staff were very attentive and it was easy to change our evening meal from the buffet to the al a carte (Kymata) which gave an excellent choice and lovely location. Unfortunately my husband fell ill on our last day and we had to delay our flight and stay an extra 2 nights. Although the room we were allocated for our extended stay was good (room 102) the view from the room was awful, concrete and outside stairs from the next hotel which had lights flashing continually through the night and also traffic noise from the roundabout. I certainly would not recommend a land view room. All in all the staff were very helpful. We have visited Constantinou Bros Hotels before and would stay again but possibly one nearer to the harbour.

My family and I arrived at Asimina Suites with high expectations and for the most, we certainly weren’t disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly with a welcome drink and canapés, and given an abundance of information as my daughter was keen to embrace some excursions. During our welcome meeting I realised I’d left some personal belongings in the taxi and staff were quick to support and make contact with the taxi company, and for a small fee my belongings were promptly returned which was a great relief. Throughout our stay staff were friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. As we had a room on the 1st floor we would have to pass by the lobby to go to the pool or the restaurants: Anne-Marie on reception had such a sunny disposition and was always ready to great us and share conversation, which was a wonderfully positive way to start the day. The restaurant & waiting staff were excellent and Tereza was a wonderful host. Joanna, Sanjaya, Nilam were efficient and friendly, as was Mahmoud (egg man). I’m unable to recall his name, but the gentleman who took drinks orders around the pool each day was also a wonderful addition to Asimina staff. Unfortunately, our stay was somewhat soured by the incredibly rude and unfriendly receptionist, whose name I didn’t catch (older lady, occasionally wore dark rimmed glasses). The first communication we had was when I requested to switch an evening meal to lunch and although she obliged, she seemed pained to do so. This lady would not acknowledge our presence or greet us when we passed, and would only give the briefest of responses when trying to engage with her by saying ‘good morning’ or similar. Upon returning from an excursion one afternoon, without so much as ‘hello’ she pointedly leaned over the desk to stare at my footwear - having been to a water park I was wearing sliders. I wasn’t aware this would be an issue and had seen numerous other guests wearing these during the day. Although I initially gave this woman the benefit of the doubt and accepted she may be having a bad day (as happens to us all) her obvious dislike was apparent and her attitude continued throughout my stay, which to be frank, made me feel rather uncomfortable. Having the pleasure of staying in this hotel comes at a premium, but I completely understand why many guests choose to return, year after year. Unfortunately, I’m not so sure I will be one of them as I am not willing to spend thousands more pounds for a member of staff to make me feel the way this lady did.

My partner and I have just returned from the fabulous Ashmia Suites in Paphos! It is our second visit and both times have been incredible. It is a beachfront adults only hotel which is nice for a break away from the kids! :-) The whole hotel has a pleasant design and is absolutely spotless. The pool is beautiful and you can hire a cabana on the beach for a very reasonable rate. The food in the main restaurant is buffet style and absolutely delicious - always- and the beachfront restaurant is stunning and idyllic and we had the most delicious scallops dish that we have ever tasted, so much so, that we went back twice to have it! We did venture out into to Paphos for a meal at a very nice restaurant but neither the food nor the service measured up to our hotel. The most incredible thing about this hotel are the people that work there. As soon as we arrived the lovely Miruna welcomed us back as did many other staff that we had met last year. I’m sorry for not remembering names but in addition to Miruna, the lovely chef who cooks the most amazing, eggs, omelettes, pancakes etc for breakfast every morning, the head waiter who was always very attentive and pleasant as were all the fabulous restaurant staff , receptionists, shop staff and pool/beach staff. We were struck by how many staff were still there from last year and at the Managers cocktail welcome event, he explained that some had been there from between 10 and 35 years! It’s no surprise as everyone seems happy in their work. Thank you all for making our visit so special and relaxing and also to Nicky Cullen at Travel Counsellor for introducing us to this wonderful hotel and booking both our holidays here! We don’t tend to be people that revisit places twice as we like to broaden our horizons but this place is too good to miss and we hope to return again next year! P.s No photos of the room as I forgot to take some but needless to say it was perfect in every way!

It’s been about 30 years since we last visited Paphos. Once stepping into the hotel it feels like nothing has changed since the 90s. The staff do provide 5 star service but the hotel itself is not 5 star. The rooms are comfy but outdated (they had dvd players). The pool was lovely and warm and screaming child free. The breakfast buffet was ok but nothing special, not to take away from the amazing service from the waiting staff. Front desk staff were also amazing and arranged for broken wardrobes and coffee machines to be fixed. They also helped us with a late checkout which we appreciated. The problem is that the hotel, the area, Paphos itself is all a bit outdated. There are people that return year after year and obviously love it, but it just wasn’t for us. We like a bit more going on, a true 5 star hotel and people more our age. The demographic of the guests were mainly retired. There were a few but not many young adults. Sadly we will not be one of the many returners. It was cheap compared to our usual 5 star holidays but now I know why. Tourist do seem to have abandoned the area so I feel bad for the locals. In summary I would say a reasonably cheap holiday in the baking hot sun, a great hotel for those wanting a quiet holiday, but fantastic service.
