Our flight was cancelled due to a strike at the airport. We had been staying at the Amavi. What a total difference. This hotel is third world and filthy, towels and bed linen threadbare and disgustingly dirty. Bathroom not used as too dirty. Pillows stained and smelly. The whole hotel is pungent of cigarette smoke. It’s terrible, would have rather have slept on the airport floor DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

The hotel has a good value for money, it is located in the center of Ktima (which is the upper part of Phafos and is almost 3 km from the sea, however the 618 bus stops right in front of the hotel and arrives a stone's throw from the sea ). The hotel has spacious rooms, friendly staff, a great breakfast buffet and even a free pool. It also has a small internal car park.

Me and my partner booked to stay here for what was meant to be 4 days, which quickly turned into 1. After going up to our room finding leftovers from previous guests, such as clothing, rubbish etc. The room decor was outdated and dark. Tried to open the balcony door and it was a wrestle as was so stiff. Very poor cleanliness and not a nice feel. In the morning we tried their breakfast which I would've of rathered gone hungry. It was very minimalistic. We then decided to check out as we weren't satisfied or comfortable with what we were staying in. The staff members weren't very helpful, didn't cooperate, were quite rude towards us and didn't in anyway help us even get a partial refund. Will never be returning to this hotel.

Stayed in here for work for one evening and I'm glad it was just 1 night. Upon arrival the receptionist was standing outside with no shoes on which straight away rang alarm bells. The room key was an actual key if you put it in your pocket your trousers may fall down. Couldn't lock the door from the inside. No spyhole on the door, no fridge. Bathroom is horrendous, dark brown tiles from the 60's. Tv didn't work in the room. And the 'sea view' is used lightly. Broken down building in front with lots of graffiti and the sea might aswell have been not there it was so far away. Breakfast is continental and no hot options. Apart from if you class toast as hot. If you want somewhere budget and cheap where you won't be staying for a while this is the place. Pool bar is cash only.

We chose this hotel for its great location in the city of Paphos. Unfortunately we have been there for a few days. The structure inside is very beautiful and above all very clean! We didn't know they didn't change the towels only every 2 days and nevertheless, the staff was really very very kind to us and fulfilled our requests to be able to change them anyway! Thank you guys! In general we were very happy! Stella&Emanuele

Having arrived we were quickly checked in. Our room was clean and the air conditioning unit very good as it was new. Breakfast was buffet style offeri a good selection and the staff was very polite and very clean. The location is excellent in the town centre near all the restaurants tavernas and nightlife We enjoyed the pool very clean and overall it was very good and excellent value for money.

First. The hotel does not deserve 3 stars. 2 stars and by force. Secondly. We went for one night and spent 75 euros and left with 1500 euros of damage to our car because there was not enough parking space. Basically in the description of the hotel it says that there is a parking space ONLY FOR 10 CARS, in a hotel with about 50 rooms. When we asked where to park we were told twice in the field, in which field you need the least, SUV car to park. In our case, we parked on the street next to the hotel because not all of us have SUVs, so someone landed on top of ours and NONE of the hotel staff cared to ask if we wanted any help. Third. In the rooms there are carpets which smell bad in every sense of the word. Quarter. Air conditioners smell very bad especially if you open the lid of the air conditioner in the area where the filters are located you will see at least 1 kilo of dust. And the funny thing was that it was written in capital letters on the outer lid "STERILE AIR CONDITIONER". Fifth. In the bathroom, in the area of the sink you will see at least the hairs of the previous guest. Sixth. NOT all the staff but a part of the staff in the face all the time Seven. Good night with the cockroaches guys. NEVER AGAIN.

Open minded we booked online and stayed a night..dirty carpet in room..broken aircon and extremely rude reception staff..no welcome of any sort..just some Jack the lad type behind reception..couldn't wait to leave..an yes they do have refugees staying in the winter months..was told in good faith from locals..the bed covers stank from stale sweat..dirty run down bathroom..we felt intimidated to complain. So swiftly left
