Lovely hotel by the beach

The worst 5 star hotel I ever stayed First impression - the hotel is stylish but when you come closer you see that it’s old, and really need some work The check in time is at 14:00 but when we tried to get keys at 14:20 we’ve been told that the room is not ready yet and we had to wait 20 minutes more. The bathroom was so smelly with cigarettes And the room is dark all day long. The windows was not changed for 20 years at least, it’s 100% not soundproof, so all loud cicadas outside was a big problem The breakfast is so small and not various at all! It’s a shame to have this kind of breakfast and pretend that it’s 5 star I’m disappointed for the first time in the row and I’m staying in hotels more than one year, so it was more than 100 hotels My recommendation: NOT to book Almyra Ps: on the pictures our room just after cleaning

I'll start by saying my family and I are very well travelled. My kids are 3, 6 & 7 and we are used to A* service & quality. We were a bit nervous coming to Almyra as for a few years we've had great experiences in Ultra All Inclusive & luxury in Greece. Me would 100% come back to Paphos & specifically this hotel. Let me tell you why: - The staff. Specifically I'd like to call out Marinos, Andrea & Dominika. All for different reasons but they made our holiday 10/10. The friendly & high levels of service from these staff members was exceptional. We literally chose which part of the hotel to be in during the day based on the excellent level of service they offered. - Kiki. I want to call out Kiki and the relations team separately as to be honest, they were so accommodating and helpful, it made my life very easy during my stay. Kiki herself helped me arrange everything I needed for my wife's birthday to make it special. Not by 'selling' me things but by having conversations with me about what I was trying to do, helping me think through the options we had and also giving me advice on what would work best! - Food. The Ouzeri restaurant was our favourite. The setting was sooo nice. The a la carte options were over very good. We're not a fan of buffet so cannot comment on this part of the food. - Setting. I walked up and down the coastline and personally, feel the design of the hotel is miles above the rest. We even spent time in the Annabelle next door, which is also nice but doesn't feel as exclusive. Finally, a couple of I hope useful points for people looking to stay. The sea view room felt really worth it. Some time you don't get a real sea view but in this hotel you do. The connecting rooms worked really well for us - it's s great option if you have kids and want privacy.

We’ve just returned from a week at the Almyra Hotel. It was a perfect location, just a stone’s throw from bars restaurants and shops. The harbour was fantastic for a morning swim. The hotel itself was a perfect relaxed vibe. Never feeling over crowded despite being peak summer season and a full capacity. The food and facilities were great and the pool overlooked the sea which was really stunning. But the real stand out were the staff! Kiki, client services manager could not do enough to make our stay special. Going out of her way to support anything we needed. We also enjoyed the sunset cocktails courtesy of expert bar man Drogos, who crafted the perfect Negroni for a relaxing drink at the end of a long day spent snorkelling and enjoying the fabulous weather of Paphos!
