Our stay was a mix of positives and negatives. The biggest downside was finding a cockroach in our room, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the toilet had very weak flushing, making it inconvenient. On the bright side, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. The beach area was beautiful and well-maintained, providing a perfect spot to relax. One thing that surprised us was the lack of free drinking water—we had to pay 180 PHP for two 500ml bottles, which felt unreasonable. However, the restaurants were great, and just a short walk along the beach led us to the Oceanica Resort Restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious meals. Overall, this place has potential, but addressing some basic issues would make the experience much better.

Room has too many huge mosquitoes. I tried to tell the receptionist but she just said "because it's rainy season". I had mosquito bites all over me. Very Health Hazzard. NOT RECOMMENDED. SHOULD BE CLOSED AND REPORTED TO TOWN'S HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

View was grand but resort rooms not so grand
The hotel itself was just ok. Hotel did not warn us that there was no road to resort so we had walk through jungle just to get to trike to take us there. Trip was very rough. Room I paid for was single queen with air. What they tried to give us was a few single beds with no air. I was ready to leave then. They majically came up with room i requested. No towels of any kind. I requested them but finally had to get them myself. Power went out couple of times to add insult to misery. The one thing I liked was the good food next door with bar, the incredible view of beach which is just 100 feet away and the quiet setting compared to adjacient noisey resorts. All in all it was ok but for the price compared to others nearby it was a bargain.

Absolutelly terrible! Only after we made the booking and asked about the direction, they wrote to us that the route to the resort is complicated and that we should go to one of the neighboring resorts and walk along the beach. No one informed us in advance that we have to pay 100 pesos per person for a 50m passage through the resort and then drag our luggage in sand and sea during high tide. The room was one of the worst during my entire time of traveling to more than 50 countries of the world. (I srayed in 2 USD places). DIRTY, SMELY and MOULDY. The shower was broken, the toilet was broken so the water was spilling everywhere and the bathroom was constantly full of water and smelled of urine. The air conditioning worked, but it was not cleaned and rusted, and while on you could feel the mold sticking to your lungs. Holes everywhere (ceiling, windows, entrance door) so insects easily got in). Customer service horrible. Drinking water only available at reception.We repeatedly walk there but everytime was close, so no water to drink. Next door karaoke till 2am and loud drum music from 7am. Absolutelly dissapointing experience.
