BE Grand Resort, Bohol

Honestly, the facilities are nice (the pool), but when I came back after going out on the first day, there were so many bugs and bug wings? on one of the beds that I thought I was going to die. So I shared a friend's bed for the first night, and after the room was cleaned, the bugs were gone, but I had to check all the bedding before sleeping. Other than that, everyone was kind and nice. But can't you eat mangosteen in a hotel?!?!?! They told me not to eat it in the room or at the restaurant, so I had to get it after checking out. I was really, really, really, really, really, really upset about this. ㅠ You can't eat mangosteen, so don't buy it. ㅠ

The decisive reason why my time in Bohol was a happy memory was because of Bigrand! From the first day of arrival until the last day of checkout, all the staff were friendly and the food at the breakfast restaurant was delicious. In particular, the desserts changed daily and there were many dishes with ube that you can only eat in the Philippines, which made it even more special~ I didn't go to any of the common restaurants, so I just played around in the resort! The pool guards were also friendly, so the kids who played in the pool for 4 days got used to their faces and laughed and made cat sounds with them. The kids love cats, so they somehow knew and made cat sounds whenever they made eye contact! The guards kept their eyes on the pool~ It was so nice that they didn't let us wear shoes other than aqua shoes! Aside from going hopping twice, I didn't go out much, but at night, I went to Lunba and felt like I was at a resort, which was the best! I thought of Korean nachos and ordered them, but I was surprised that they were so delicious! The nachos are big, so you have to order half. After reading the explanation, I want to go again. Check-in was at exactly 3 o'clock, so I waited. But there were no towels in the room, and the air conditioner kept emitting a strong cigarette smell. When I told the staff, they said it was okay and left. The bedding was dirty, damp, and had mold stains. It seemed like they had just cleaned up the bedding from before, so I asked them to replace it, and they did, so I was able to sleep cleanly. It was not worth the price. The facilities and the beach were good.

We stayed for 5 nights on a family trip (6th-11th) I made a reservation in January, but I couldn't find the reservation details, so I had to wait. While waiting, they randomly gave me a welcome drink 😅 (I heard it's a place that's been in operation for a long time, but the random welcome drink was strange~) In the end, I found the reservation details, but none of the things I requested~ were applied. Of course, I received an email saying that they might not apply it, but this was the first time I've seen a resort that didn't apply even one thing (high-rise view, Hollywood bed, etc.) I paid the deposit of 10,000 PH by card. (I checked the room and requested a refund when I checked out on the 10th, but they said it would take about a week~) The resort itself looked clean and seemed like a good place for a family to stay. The staff were also kind.. There was a "shuttle bus and boat" to Alona Beach prepared. Breakfast was eaten at the food hall. Bigrand has 2 pools Yes~ There was a main pool and a kids pool, but the kids pool was filled with water and the water supply was turned off~(There was no manager in the kids pool) There was a lifeguard walking around the main pool sometimes or there was a place to rent towels~ The water color was cloudy compared to other resorts;;; The room was an aqua view room and it was on the first floor The first day, I caught a swarm of mosquitoes and caught them again...😤 In the end, I even bought F-Killa at the mart 🦟 As I stayed, the swarm of mosquitoes gradually disappeared.... Phew.. (My second child was bitten from head to toe 😭) The most controversial "towel"!!!!! When I went to the room on the day I checked in, there were "2 large red towels + 2 gray hand towels"!! The towels were really cheap I heard a story, so I brought a "portable compressed towel" in advance We played at the resort pool on the morning of the second day, so we didn't clean the room and only asked for towels and trash~ Then, whenever I saw the cleaning person, I asked for towels, and I received plenty of towels. On the third day, when I went on a tour, I put them in a towel carrier and went out, and only on the third day!! They were on the bed as in the picture After that, I received two red towels and two hand towels It seems like a place that has been around for a long time, but the system is not well organized~ Towels are also given out randomly!!! 🤣🤣 There were 2~4 bottles of water a day They clean it cleanly, but the dust is still there.... You can think of breakfast as just filling your stomach~ The menu was not the same for some, but.. You can just think of it as filling your stomach~ If you ask for fruit, they will cut it If you ask for cup ramen, they will give you hot water The rooftop lounge has a nice atmosphere, and when I went on a windy day, it wasn't hot and it was nice to drink cocktails~ I ate lunch at the food hall.. Watermelon or pineapple juice is much tastier than mango juice~ I only had cocktails at Monkey Bar You can sit on the private beach of Bigrand and drink it, so you can drink it cool while looking at the wide ocean There are no marts around the resort~ You have to buy food in advance and come in Food delivery is available from outside If you need a tuk-tuk, you can call it or use the resort tuk-tuk (for a fee) There is a private beach~ and snorkeling And you can rent ㅋㅏ누 You can rent a towel when you go on a tour You can rent it at the lobby front desk You can return the towel at the pool towel rental place You have to pay a 1,000 pesos rental fee, and after returning the towel, you can get a receipt and return it to the front desk Overall, it is a leisurely and relaxing Bigrand Resort However, it seems to be less organized despite being in operation for a long time~ The front desk is open 24 hours, so you can check in and check out early in the morning.

The private beach, swimming pool, and other facilities are good, but the room condition is not so good. I heard mice in the room at night... I was so nervous that I changed rooms the next day. I don't recommend it in terms of cleanliness.

This family trip chose No. 1 Hotel because it has a large swimming pool, and there is a beach next to it where children can have fun playing in the water. The service attitude of the kitchen staff is very comfortable, which makes the trip very enjoyable. The hotel also has parking spaces for cars and motorcycles, which can be rented. It takes about 10 minutes to ride a motorcycle to the lively area; there is a beautiful open-air bar on the top floor, where you can watch the beautiful sunset.

Personally, I like it, but the price seems a bit expensive. There is no pool in the private pool villa, but it is much better for swimming there.

It's the best for a family trip. The staff, Natalie, was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.
