The hotel is located 5 minutes from Alona Beach via the hotel's free shuttle (available on request from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.). 2 beautiful swimming pools complete the hotel and the staff is exceptionally kind. We had a 2-bedroom villa which was very spacious and comfortable. The little extra: a private terrace for each room to enjoy breakfast and a clothes horse to dry your clothes.

We spent 4 nights at this resort with a group of 7 friends and we had a wonderful experience. The resort is far from the busiest area of Alona so rest and tranquility are guaranteed. If on the other hand you want to go to Alona they have a free shuttle on demand until 22:00. To return to Alona and after 22:00 you can easily find a tuktuk for 150-200 php. The walk to Alona takes less than 15 minutes; we did it several times without problems although it can be hectic and there is a lot of traffic. If in doubt it is better to take the free shuttle; in 3 minutes you will be at the beach. But if you go on foot you will discover a barbecue restaurant where the locals eat that is very worthwhile (Valmores BQQ Hauz). From the hotel you can connect to the main beaches and restaurants in the area by private shuttle for a very reasonable price and on demand; this allows you to explore the area without needing to rent a motorbike. They also offer motorbike rentals and have scheduled excursions from the resort. The rooms are spacious enough and VERY clean. The service standard is above average and the team does everything possible to meet your needs. We had a small problem with the accommodation and speaking to Niels it was solved immediately. Impeccable service. Very good breakfasts at a very good price. Fresh produce. Very good coffee. Restaurant open from 5:30 to 21:30 which allows you to enjoy a good meal almost at any time. 100% recommended!

We booked the two-bedroom villa for 5 adults and 3 kids. Karen at the front desk is an absolute gem; she exemplifies what hospitality industry professionals should strive to be. She flawlessly arranged our airport transfer, Oceanica Beach, Hinagdanan Cave, island hopping, and Chocolate Hills tour. I highly recommend booking with this hotel; the prices are extremely reasonable. A huge plus is the hotel's free shuttle service to/from the Alona Beach area (drops you off by Jollibee). The on-site massage is also cheaper than the spas on the main *****. For first-timers to Bohol, this hotel is an all-in-one option that will make your trip convenient.

The accommodation we had was very spacious for 6 pax. The place itself is nice and quiet with 2 pools. Staff were very attentive and responsive to our requests. The only downside is that it's quite far from Panglao beach shoreline, though it was compensated by the shuttle service they provide every time guests would like to go to the beach. They also offer countryside tours and island hopping for guests if requested 👍

This was a perfect stay. The accommodation is lovely and super clean. The location is perfect, in a quiet area with a free shuttle bus to the beach. Our drivers Arve and Jun were super helpful. Arve was always checking that we were ok and had everything we needed. The restaurant is excellent, fresh, high quality food. What really made the stay was how lovely all the staff were. I would certainly recommend staying here.

There were nine adults and one baby in our group when we stayed at the Island World. We'd booked the Pool Villa which was perfect for our big group. It has two rooms, one much bigger than the other, with a small hallway in between. The smaller room, where my husband and I stayed, was also perfectly quiet for when my daughter had to attend online master's degree classes one evening. The internet was excellent too. I liked it that the owner, Niels who is Danish, always took the time to chat with guests. The free shuttle that brought us to and from Alona Beach and other nearby locations saved us both time and money. The breakfast servings were generous. The staff were warm and friendly. Have already recommended this place to friends!
