Hotel Gabarda

I stayed here with my parents for 8 nights in July 2025. Upon arrival, we were given a very warm welcome by staff, despite arriving at night. Reception is open 24 hours and offers a range of services, such as luggage storage and excursions. Our room was located in the Gil Complex, which is right next door to the main hotel. The room was on the smaller side for 3 people and slightly dated but was still very clean and comfortable - cleaning staff visited daily. The standard triple room had 3 single beds, a mini fridge, a wardrobe, a desk with 2 chairs, a hairdryer, bathroom and small balcony with a table and 2 chairs. It should also be noted that there is no lift in the building. The main hotel bulding was modern and well-equipped. Our booking included breakfast, which was made fresh everyday. There was plenty of choice, such as full english, cereal, pastries, omlettes, etc. It also included 2 drinks, which was great! The hotel also has a bar which serves a variety of drinks, coffees, cocktails and bar snacks (crisps, toasties, hot dogs, nachos, etc.), all of which were very reasonably priced. The pool area was small, with 12 sunbeds, but was still lovely to sit around. We never really struggled to get a suned either! There's also a decent seating area under a canopy, so perfect to avoid the sun for a bit! This area was also incredibly clean and well maintained. In my opinion, the hotel is in a perfect location. It is a 5 min walk to the seafront, where there's many bars, shops and restaraunts, as well as the beach. It is also very close to Lidl, which is perfect to stock up on some snacks and other essentials. There are also bus stops very close to the hotel, with connections to Magaluf, Palma, etc. We got the bus to Palma twice and only took about 30 mins each way. Overall, we had a briliant experience at this hotel. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and really enhanced our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Palma Nova and it definitely deserves higher than a 2 star rating! We would definitely return if visiting Mallorca again - thank you so much!!

Absolute gem. Like all the other views don’t judge what you see when your turn up! It’s beautiful inside and well finished. The staff are all amazing. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend
