Returned today after a lovely 2 weeks here. It was our second visit and there’s always that doubt that it won’t be as good as last time when you revisit somewhere but we’ve loved it again. STAFF - huge shout out to the lifeguard (young girl with cool hair), who went above and beyond throughout. She never took her eyes off the pool and surrounding areas and was on the ball. Some reviews don’t speak very kindly of her but we always found her polite, safety conscious and fun. The only people who I seen take any offence to her were those who thought they were above the rules - but there wasn’t many. Reception staff were welcoming, efficient and shears very helpful. The entertainment staff are absolutely brilliant at what they do, and really made the holiday. Davide and Charlotte really bounce off each other, get the atmosphere going and everyone having a laugh. Joanna was fantastic with the kids! My 2 loved the kids club, despite being the only 2 there a couple of mornings. It didn’t bother them and it’s all they asked to do, they just loved Joanna - thank you for making R&As holiday! All of the team went above and beyond. Kitchen, Restaurant and bar staff were all really friendly and welcoming. They put some long hours in and are on their feet all day but always have a smile. ROOMS - we stayed in room 115. I don’t know what the other rooms are like but this had plenty space. It was just above the bar area so was nice to sit in the balcony and listen to the entertainment when the kids wanted an early night. Despite being close to the bar areas, once the balcony doors were shut, you couldn’t hear much. Beds were nice and comfortable. CLEANLINESS - the hotel really was spotless. Rooms were always cleaned to a high standard. Communal areas were cleaned very early morning indoors, and the pool area was cleaned every morning. Throughout the day, you would see staff cleaning around the hotel. POOL AREA - always clean and tidy. We never struggled to get sun beds. There was queuing early on but that tended to be parents who wanted to be near young children in the pool. The last couple of days there was empty beds all day. There was queuing at times for drinks at the pool bar but the queues went down quick enough. A little bit of music would’ve been the icing on the cake. ENTERTAINMENT- again, the whole team are amazing. Lots of activities through the day - waterpolo, aqua carpet, football, bowling, darts, splash bingo. Evenings were mini disco at 8.30, bingo/quiz/raffle at 9.30, followed by a show at 10pm. This was a mixture of singers, illusionists, flamenco dancers, karaoke and the “imagination show” where the staff performed things such as the jungle book, frozen, shrek, etc and is brilliant! FOOD- typical all inclusive food. There was lots of choice and food was always tasty and hot. There was different themes - Mexican, Asian, seafood, etc. We are out a few times so there was probably more. The snack bar by the pool was great, we often got somethi

You get what you pay for so this really isn't a hotel bashing. Rooms - we were a family of 4 with a baby so we needed a travel cot and it did feel really small, however you dont spend much time in the room. Bathroom was sound and the shower was decent. Little fridge in the room however its questionable if it chills the things in it. No complimentary bottles of water provided by the hotel, bring bottles and fill them at the stations round the hotel. Hotel - clean, which is the main thing. Staff were ok, didnt really have much dealings with them in all honesty. Its very close to the beach and restaurants which was amazing for us as a family. Beach is very well looked after, supermarkets opposite as well so you can stay all day. Pool- decent size pool and again it's clean. You are not allowed inflatables in the pool, when I say this I mean adult lilos, you can have children's rings etc. Food- again this was ok, something for everyone, you get what you pay for. Pool snack bar does your chicken nuggets chips, pizza etc. Drinks - alcoholic drinks here i thought was pants, but then again what did I expect for the price. I would suggest bringing your own taller cups and they give you small plastic ones, 2 sips and its gone - typical brit abroad????

My nine year old son and I stayed here at the end of August. We had a room on the 4th floor with a sea view. Room was lovely, cleaned daily and had a large shower. The kettle and fridge in the room were very useful. There are only two small lifts but we used the stairs except for arrival / departure. 92 steps in total from floor 4 to -1 where the restaurant is! It kept us fit. The swimming pool area was great. Most mornings we could get a sun bed between 8-9 when we went down for breakfast. Towels were on many of the beds much earlier! Yes the female lifeguard is more strict than others. On day one I asked a male lifeguard if we could use a small inflatable and he said yes. The day after she told us politely that we couldn’t. So we just used them at the beach. The cup tokens aren’t an issue. Stops mess around the pool. Food at the pool bar is good. Pizza, hotdogs, fish, chips, salads and desserts. Yes there are birds around but as long as people shut the sliding doors and pick up dropped items they weren’t a problem. Food in the restaurant is ok. Breakfast was great, a lovely selection. We only ate lunch in there once or twice and the evening meals were ok. There was always something we both would eat, but it was similar most nights. Theme nights added more variety, which was good. The animation team are fun. They chat with everyone and quickly work out who wants to engage and who doesn’t. Bingo was a laugh! Most staff we met were friendly, only a couple seemed disinterested. Location is great. Next door to Golf Fantastia. We paid for the three courses and played them on different nights. Out the back gate the beach is just a couple of minutes away and is great for snorkelling!

We had a great experience at this hotel. All of the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was very friendly. The animation team was one of the best I have encountered. Specifically, Davides enthusiasm, energy and ability to get everyone involved was amazing. It is in a great location, very close to the beach, restaurants and shops, and not too far from Magaluf. Rooms were clean, food and drinks are your average all-inclusive food and drinks. Something for everyone to eat. The snack bar is brilliant. Overall I would reccommend!

Family of 4, children 9/12. Our 2nd visit here and didn't disappoint. Room 201 on the 2nd floor, front of the hotel. Check in was hassel free, didn't have to wait which was a bonus. Rooms cleaned to an excellent standard. Room slightly cramped once sofabed folded out but managed fine for the duration of our stay. The hotel is clean and the grounds are immaculate. Pool area spacious with plenty of beds. People queuing for beds most mornings from 6am onwards but nothing major. I certainly didn't witness anyone running or fighting for beds. Occasional queuing for drinks at the pool bar which wasn't an issue for us. The snack bar food was of a better standard than our last visit, however can be a bit repetitive but enough to keep the kids happy. Food in the main restaurant was plentiful with a good variety. We ate out some evenings aswell. Can highly recommend the American Diner/Rossini italian and El Chiringo. The location is excellent with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a few minutes stroll from the hotel. The beaches are stunning and very clean. We hired a parasol/beds for the day for €20.50 safe included which we thought was reasonable. Definitely room for improvement on the entertainment during the day, it just seemed to be missing something. There were a few people playing music on small speakers which was nice. Overall another great stay at the Globales Palmanova.

It's an alright hotel but ACCESSIBILITY. I dont recommend if youre disabled. There are stairs to the childrens park and pool and also to the smoking areas. If you want to go to the sports bar from the pool you have to go back in and up to reception because there are also stairs. The lifts are so small that my fiances wheelchair only JUST fit, sometimes we'd crash getting him in and out. Not to mention theres only two small lifts in the whole hotel and EVERYONE is using them. So you also have long waits for the lifts. When we arrived we were offered no help with our cases etc and we had to have me in the lift with one case then have my other half wait in the reception for the lift to come back down to get himself in the lift to press the button to go up then take himself back out the put the cases in for me to collect the cases on the next floor. The bedroom doors are HEAVY so getting in and out of the rooms was a nightmare and then they said their rooms were accessible with plenty of room to get around. The bathroom was accessible but the room itself, the wheelchair couldn't fit past the bed and the door frames on the balcony were too high up so he couldn't get over them even if we tried. Not that it mattered because he couldn't get the wheelchair over there because of the desk and bed being too close together (couldn't move the desk as its fixed to the wall) when we did ask to change rooms they said all their rooms were the same size apart from the rooms that had sofa beds and that they weren't willing to try to see if he could get the wheelchair around because apparently they were all fully booked but the hotel wasn't that busy.

Stayed here with my family last week, arrived late at night and check in was quick for us (as we were first in line) but only one person was on reception and there was a big queue behind us. Had a nice room with lovely pool/sea view. No bottles of water in room which I thought there would have been. (Stayed in other Globales hotels and had bottles of water each day). Rooms were cleaned daily and maids were very friendly. Food really lets the hotel down, breakfast was always good, lunch ok and evening meal was the worst, the same choices everyday, I’ve had better food in 3 star hotels. We always managed to find something but it was the same thing every day and often food not replenished quickly enough . I really expected higher quality and variety for a 4 star hotel. The Snack bar during the day was ok and sometimes a better option than the lunchtime meal. Drinks were ok, usual all inclusive options. More staff needed as there was often a queue during the day at the pool bar. In the evening, you got served pretty quickly and queue not as bad. Pool was always busy and more sunbeds are needed and if you are not down by 7.30-8am there are no beds left, unless you upgrade to VIP which we didn’t. We ended up going to the beach and often in the late afternoon would return to hotel, when beds became available. Entertainment was good, always activities going on in the day and shows on at night, entertainment staff worked hard. The lifts were slow and only 2 in the hotel, often having to wait a while to get one and often quicker to walk down the stairs. We enjoyed our holiday and found most of the staff friendly and hardworking but for what we paid we felt the hotel wasn’t good value and shouldn’t be a 4 star, food is average at best and all round improvement is needed, I would only rate 3 star on this basis. Also inside the bar area of the hotel, we noticed a sewerage smell, which one evening was really bad and could also smell this at the entrance to the hotel too. Hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes walk to the beach, bars, restaurants etc and right near Golf Fantasia. Would stay again for location and depending on price.
