Awful hotel one of the worst where do I start worst I have stayed in for a long time. Walls paper thin you can hear next doors conversations. In massive need if updating I have a chunk out it a floor tile cracks in ceiling and an awful smell from the drains this got progressively worse over the 5 days to the point I had to go to reception at 1.30 in the morning it was making me feel sick the response only had 1 room to move me too but that wasnt a great room he found some bleach to put down the drains and told me to sleep with the patio door open which I have to add was accessible from the pool area it was next to a fire escape which anyone could walk up and just step over the balcony not the best for a lone female traveller. The beds come home with back back, food awful often cold not a lot of choice I visited 3 times didnt eat much ate out the rest of the time. Is there any positives some of the staff were lovely and thats its. I felt grubby having a bath drain that smelt brown cushions that didnt smell the best. I would avoid. It is very tired very 80s style with luke warm very little choice of food and no consideration for lone female travellers and what room for safety reasons to put them in oh and be prepared to pay €50 euros if you want a safe. Sorry I dont have much positive to stay if I hadnt of had friends in the hotel I would have checked out.

Reviews suggested a fairly quiet hotel, unfortunately we found otherwise! When booking the hotel a year in advance, we had the option to book a quiet room, on arrival we were happy to discover a room in 1st floor, very close to lift and restaurant, however the room was directly above the entertainment area, which was loud til midnight every night. On 1 night we had people running, shouting and screaming until after 1am, and another night a group of friends laughing and shrieking until after 1.30am. Don’t get me wrong, people go on holiday to have a good time, but some of us, who are pushing 70 years old just want a relaxing time. Once we obtained some ear plugs things were improved. We tried the bar for a cocktail, which we knew we would have to pay for, the lady behind the bar, clearly didn’t know how to make it, looking in every cupboard at least to find the ingredients, she asked us to wait a moment as there was a queue forming behind us. After she served a few guests, she said could we wait until her colleague was back from his break to get our order, so we took a seat. When he came back to the bar he just got on serving the queue and we were ignored, we waited a few minutes more then gave up and left. Found some great bars along the promenade for our cocktails. A shout out though to the cleaning staff who work very hard and also Luna behind the bar during the day, she was lovely. Food was so-so, I’ve stayed at a few Globales hotels over the years and this 1 comes bottom of the list unfortunately.

Definitely not a 4 star, more like 3 star plus. Food at best is lukewarm and obviously recycling lunch into dinner and dinner into lunch. Having to queue with your token for a drink is pretty demeaning and then the angry barman just slams it down. For value for money it was actually that poor that we checked out after 3 days and moved to another hotel, on checking out we weren’t even asked why we were doing so. Won’t be back obviously

Positives The staff work hard, are very polite. The hotel is kept very clean all be it old and dated. Location is fine too not to far to walk to bars/restaurants Negatives •Communal areas are kept clean but are old and outdated. For example the runners on the corridors have seen better days and are ripped/fraying and losing their colours. •Restaurant-Very small and would have hated to be there during the rush of peak season. Food is very limited at dinner and not always hot. Breakfast was limited and not the best. The snack restaurant was probably the best but with limited selection. We eneded up eating out. •Pool area- We didnt use but it is small so can imagine in peak season it is caos. -Rooms- Start with the positive that they are cleaned everyday, fresh towels and bedding. However they are very basic and small and yes it was just somewhere to sleep but the beds were so uncomfy we lacked this, bathroom was fine but the airvents kept falling from the ceiling. The decor of the rooms were outdated and looked grubby. The balcony furniture was cheap and flimby. Could here everything in the rooms next door, toilets flusing, showers, people snoring, beds moving. •Bar- This is fine however is small so can imagine in peak season the ques are long. Overall I’d not return to this hotel, there are much nicer looking hotels around the centre of the resort. We were only here for 4 days at the start of the season but i’d have hated to spend usual peak season prices and end up here.

Our group was 2 in their 30s, 18,16 and 15yr old. I'll start by saying this is probably a great hotel for the younger groups who don't really care about facilities. I want to also express how wonderful the whole staff at this hotel are, very polite and extremely attentive. Overall though we were disappointed with this hotel. It looks so much better on the pictures. The pool area is tiny. My KIDS were shouted at in the pool for slightly splashing and raising their voices. When in the pool you have to be silent and serious and that was shocking to me. They were not allowed to have fun in there. At one point I had to ask the lifeguard to get off of her high horse. Also be careful leaving belongings when you get in the pool. We has a wireless speaker stolen in literally a few minutes of being gone. We also had 3 towels stolen in a week which is an absolute joke. The food was abysmal. Sorry. We are not fussy eaters but go on holiday around 4 times a year, always all inclusive and this was one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We paid all inclusive and still had to spend almost 2000 eating out for 5 of us in a week. The kids would not touch it. On the plus side there was always a great selection of pastries but being celiac that's out of the question. Even the fruit was the same 3 fruits everyday, water melon, melon and orange, occasionally kiwi. . If you can eat melon and pastry you are fine. Went to get toast one morning and there was the slight green dusting of mould on and by god that is disgusting. The breakfast was repeated the same everyday. The only upside is the pool snack bar was great and the only food my kids would tolerate. The bar staff were great but kept giving me alcohol free almost cocktails. Come on, I'm a fully grown adult. I even saw them refusing some lads drinks because they had been up 5 mins before and got one. Sorry but that's not acceptable when people have paid for all inclusive and the bar man clearly needs teaching that. Be aware that there are 2 sockets in the room that give out bare minimum electricity. My phone would be on charge all night and still be at 60% it was a challenge getting everyone's electronics charged. We bought an extension lead and that kind of helped. Very noisy on a night with the groups sat at the bottom of our rooms, shouting even fighting 2 nights. Not whst you want on a holiday. There's NOWHERE to get a coffee before breakfast opens. I was so wound up about this. I'm up at 6am every morning and coffee is an essential. I'd take a kettle if you do try this hotel because many people I spoke to had the same problem Cleaner was wonderful. Rooms spotless. Overall great staff, terrible experience There was a globales palmanova next door, much better hotel and when on the return coach and journey home, everyone I spoke to loved that hotel so if you can afford the slight increase, choose thst hotel or the amazing globales Saint Lucia. ××× in response to the owner××× If the staff didn't report m

Don't feel this is a 4 star hotel.. the room wasn't great as at the front of the hotel so didn't get any sun at all,day or night, room 412. This left getting swim wear impossible to dry. The heating wasn't a option to put on even when cold. So ended up buying more from the shop.. then had to pay 1 euro a day for each towel also to change as still wet. The room itself was poor. My 6year old catching his foot on a raw plug in the bathroom floor. I could only just about fit in the bathroom being 6ft. All in all was very average and wouldn't return. The globalas hotel next door looked brilliant and not sure if the globalas palace is piggy backing of that star rating. Don't get mixed up between the too. Then to box it all off when it rained we found are selves getting wet in bed as the ceiling was leaking through. Just not what you would expect and very disappointed.
