I have nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation at Terra Mare Hotel and their staff. I would like to say that I was traveling by motorbike, and on the way I had a minor inconvenience. When I told Nikos that I needed help, he dropped all his work and devoted himself to solving my problem, which he eventually solved. Once again I would like to thank him for his extraordinary kindness and advise everyone who finds himself on this side of the "planet" to visit him. You won't regret it.

I've come to Greece many times over the years, but this is my favorite place to stay and my favorite island. Terra Mare Resort is "simple luxury" with an owner (Nicos) who cares. The large property has trees full of oranges, lemons and loquats, an amazing pool and overlooks beautiful Livadi Bay. Lixouri town is only a few minutes away by car and a ferry across the bay to Argostoli is only 3 euros. Nicos' rates are way too low and breakfast is included. The ONLY thing I'd change is to convert that unused tennis court into a pickleball court Nicos :)

We enjoyed our stay at this place more than we would have ever expected. It was mainly due to the owner, Nicos, who is a kind, charismatic and skillful man with a big heart. The accommodation is set in large grounds where everyone can find their privacy and own cosy, tidy and clean room. The curtains can create complete darkness during the night and it's possible to use the AC on a hot summer day. We have always had a great night's sleep here. In the lunge area, where you can have a drink or find anything you need, we met some hotel guests who have been coming back for years. This is definetely a sign that the hotel is worthy of a return visit.

Villaggio turistico immerso nel verde composto da deliziose casette a 1 o 2 piani , ognuna col suo ampio balcone ( dal nostro si vedevano sia il mare che i monti. Le strutture sono un po’ datate ma tenute bene, pulite e dotate del necessario, letti comodi.Ampio parcheggio gratuito all’ombra degli alberi, struttura centrale con bar, salotto, tavoli sia all’interno che all’esterno in cui poter consumare la colazione ma anche altri pasti ottimi e ad ottimo prezzo, menzione d’onore per il gestore Nicolas, persona veramente squisita, sempre gentile e disponibile per ogni necessità. Eccezionale la piscina di dimensioni enormi e sempre pulitissima

Nikos, the owner, was extremely accommodating from start to finish. Our flight was delayed meaning we arrived at the hotel at 2:30am yet Nikos stayed up to ensure we arrived safe and sound. He helped us hire a car, gave us advice on where to go and what to do as well as restaurants/bars he liked. Very clean and neat. Room had everything we needed and even a balcony (surrounded by orange trees). Very big pool with decent view of the hills. 10 minute drive to the nearest town Lixouri which has shops, restaurants, bars, and a ferry service to Argostoli, another town with similar amenities. We will be back purely to see Nikos again! P.S. if you want one of the best meals of your life, please eat at "the corner" restaurant in Lixouri, we ate there multiple times and were consistently impressed.

Luogo incantevole tra alberi in fiore e prato ben curato. Piscina fronte mare molto pulita e curata . StanE confortevoli pulitissime con aria condizionata frigo tv e wifii. Il bagno un po’ da migliorare . La colazione è sufficiente ma i cappuccini e i caffè di Nicolas sono eccezionali. È un luogo perfetto da cui partire per visitare luoghi incantati e la sera divertirsi a lixouri che si trova a 5 minuti. Nicolas è accogliente risolutivo è sempre sempre gentile e sorridente la vera forza del terrà Mare. Vi fornisce lettini e ombrelloni per le spiagge, vi fa consigli su dove andare ed è disponibile a rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta , rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale !

What a great Hotel with Nikos as your host who couldn't do enough to make your stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is basic but the rooms have all the facilities that you require including air conditioning in the bedrooms. We were not supposed to be staying at the hotel but so glad we did. If you are on the island pay Nikos a visit and I am sure he will look after you .

Mal wieder im Paradies !!! Einfach super !!! Nico ist einfach der beste Gastgeber!!! Das Ganze ist einfach himmlisch !!! Obwohl Nico im Winter sich in Athen einer schweren Operation unterziehen mußte, ist er jetzt wieder ganz der Alte !!! Ein Herz und eine Seele !!! Einfach nur toll und deshalb wünsche ich Ihm für die Zukunft nur das Allerbeste !!!! Auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen!!
