I am a university professor and was visiting Kefalonia for conference. We made this reservation way in advance. Upon check in, they told us that there was a plumbing issue in a block, and that unfortunately they can’t give us a room. First night they moved us to another hotel that was 10 mins drive from Argile (where the conference was happening). The room was extremely dirty and we had a terrible night. The day after they moved us to a near by villa which was half price of Argile and we stayed there for the rest of our stay. The whole thing was a horrible experience, especially that I had paid the surge price for this room. Avoid Argile by all means. My friend was staying in Apollonian and it was much better at a lower price — and definitely they don’t treat their customers like this.

Highly recommend rhis Hotel/Resort
Very Clean and newer remodeled rooms with great ciews of the pool and water park. If you have kids this place is a must. 3 minute walk to the beach.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel !
Familial, adapté pour les enfants, les familles, bien équipé, waterpark, chaises bébé, pataugeoire, mini club par exemple.
Personnel très aimable, accueillant et arrangeant ! merci à Julianna qui me faisait un délicieux café frappé tous les matins ☺️
Propreté des chambres et des espaces commun, il y a parfois du vent et le personnel fait attention à ramasser les objets qui pourrait s’envoler et finir dans la piscine.
Le resto était bon et assez varié, le petit déjeuné excellent, beaucoup de choix en sucré et salé je me suis régalée.
Au bar de la piscine le midi jusqu’à 16h c’est pita gyros et pizza, excellentes aussi !
La piscine est grande, chaude, propre, ferme à 18h mais la plage est à 2 min à pied si vous voulez prolonger votre journée soleil!
Plage très sympa, on a pied loin, pratique avec les enfants, il y a même des falaises d’argile pour se faire des petits masques!
Bref très bon séjour pour nous, tout était au top nous y retournons avec plaisir

Value for money, Friendly staff so willing to assist you to make your stay more comfortable. Super clean rooms, and a fabulous selection of food to eat from morning to evening. Small gym with lots of machines to exercise. Relaxing beds to sunbathe, great pool, fun pool for the little ones. Minutes away from Xi Beach. Not the best-tasting wine on the all-inclusive deal, nut easy to drink. Cool beer on tap, pool bar with snacks. Cocktails are not very nice! It would be nice for the hotel to provide a shuttle bus into Lixouri. Apart from my small points regarding drinks, I would highly recommend staying here. Very relaxing and only 2 Euro's on the local bus into town, 3 Euro's on the ferry to Argustoli. Where you can catch local buses all over the island. I will be recommending the Argile to all my travel customers. Julie

Äußerst freundliches Personal, super sauber, besser geht nicht, tolles Frühstücksbuffet, lässt keine Wünsche offen, sehr ruhige Lage, auch die Zimmer sind gut isoliert, sehr bequeme Betten, keine Stechmücken, ideale Entfernung zum.Xi Beach mit angenehmen Lounge Bars, Sportmöglichkeiten vorhanden, großzügige Pools

Spiaggia molto particolare hotel pulito cibo vario molta verdura animazione scarsa e non per stranieri necessario avere auto per spostamenti per evitare un ora di strada panoramica ma dispersiva utile prendere battello che nel periodo estivo è molto frequente

No welcome or information given at Reception. The hotel and the room was very clean and good housekeeping. No spa in the hotel. If you wanted a massage you booked it at Reception and had your massage in a tent near the beach. Had to pay a hotel registration fee, had to leave a deposit for towels and had to pay 10 Euros for a sunbed on the beach. Food was very bland and repetitive with NO allergy labelling. They put the same gluten free bread out every day until it was green!
