wonderful hotel, spacious accommodation overlooking a lake. traditional entertainment which was a lovely bonus. Food was excellent. Staff were very nice, it was a lovely touch that the owners came and spoke to guests after dinner. The hotel appears to sit well and support the local community

Un hotel magnifique dans lequel nous avons passé deux nuits. Tout y est raffiné. Notre chambre avait un énorme charme, donnant sur un petit lac. Je jardin très agréable avec des fauteuils et coins à l'ombre pour pouvoir profiter de l'endroit. Une piscine magnifique, une excellent cuisine. Des chants et musiques du rajasthan sont donnés chaque soir. Le personnel est d'une extrème gentillesse, et très professionnel. L'hotel propose un safari en jeep pour aller à la découverte de la nature environnante. On y a vu des gazelles et deds Nilgots. Nous avons également visité une famille Bishnoï et assisté à la fabrication de poteries par le potier local. Dans l'enceinte de cet hotel il y a un magasin de vêtements, allez y ! les prix sont très intéressants, même pas besoin de négocier les prix et la qualité est au rendez. C'est une excellente adresse, je vais en inde depuis 15 ans et ce genre d'endroit est une pépite. J'évite désormais de dormir dans les grandes villes telles que jaipur ou Udaipur, il existe ce genre d'endroit qui vous donnetn une bien meilleure satisfaction. J'y retournerai en octobre avec un groupe de 36 personnes, j'ai hâte de leur faire découvrir cet endroit.

Lovely hotel in a converted fort. We had a lovely room that looked like others we’d seen in palaces in India. The gardens were beautiful and the staff were excellent. The only disappointment was the buffet dinner which was expensive, not hot and not much choice, had we been advised it was a buffet we would not have chosen to have it

Très bel établissement de style Rajput, beau jardin , très belle piscine mobilier ancien et fresques magnifiques. Chambre spacieuse avec meubles authentiques, très bonne literie. Restauration de grande qualité à base de produits frais ! Service impeccable, à recommander !

The Rohat Garh was a charming hotel, with the most beautiful garden courtyard and wonderful old fashioned rooms, giving you a taste of old Rajasthan. The team were all extremely helpful and attentive and the food very good. There was ample opportunity to enjoy the sunshine in luxury around the pool or in the garden, but we made the most of the excursions on offer. A 'boys' motorcycle excursion on Royal Enfield 350 'Bullets' were the undoubted highlight. Once we signed our lives away, off we went! A couple of hours on wonderful motorbikes on local roads and even the odd highway dodging the Indian traffic - Fantastic. For someone who hadn't ridden a motorbike for 35 years, it was great. For two 19yo boys, it was epic! A more gently sunset bicycle tour suited everyone evening, with a chance to see the local villages and some birds and wildlife, while a riding excursion the next morning was another way to see and experience the countryside, local town and wildlife. All in all, a great experience on our Indian adventure.

Awesome Rohetgarh
What an amazing property, gives you a feel for heritage living alongwith modern facilities. Thakur Sahib stays on the property and is a treasure trove of history.

The location is remote away from jodhpur . The lake is nice but also a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The setting is frankly mediocre. Food is repetitive. internet is spotty or non existent. The showers have hot water for 3 mon before it gets cold-get used to really short showers. The management is rude
