"Exceptional service and super accommodating staff made our stay amazing! The spacious room, comfy bed, and ergonomic pillow were a big plus. Perfect location near all the tourist spots in Palermo. Very near to nice restaurants and shops.

My sister-in-law and I have just returned from a marvellous week at Palco Room & Suites in the heart of Palermo, and we are still glowing with joy and gratitude. This gem of a B&B, owned and run by the wonderful Giacomo Vena and his wife Stefania, offers not just accommodation, but an experience that leaves a lasting impression. Our Romeo and Julia Suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and filled with natural light – and the view onto the majestic Teatro Massimo was simply spectacular. Each morning began with a lavish breakfast, often featuring Stefania’s delicious home-baked breads and cakes – a true labour of love and a highlight in itself. What made our stay truly exceptional, however, was the warmth, care, and dedication of Giacomo and Stefania. They treated us more like old friends than guests. Giacomo, to our delight, was also our driver for the guided outings we had booked through Smeraldo Tours. His deep knowledge of Sicily, his thoughtful organisation, and the outstanding local guides he collaborates with made each tour a rich and unforgettable experience. From Palermo to Agrigento and even the hidden treasures of Mazaro del Vallo, every excursion was seamless and enriching. A particularly touching gesture was Giacomo arranging for a local elder to guide us through the winding alleys of the Kasbah – something we would never have discovered on our own. This level of attention and passion is rare. Giacomo not only made sure everything ran smoothly and on time, he also added spontaneous stops and extra experiences when he saw how much we appreciated the beauty and history of Sicily. We left not only with unforgettable memories of a fascinating island, but also with the warm feeling of having made new friends. Giacomo and Stefania have a wonderful hotel in the very downtown of Palermo. My room had the most beautiful view of the Massimo Theatre and the area is full of life. The best arancini & canolo are 3 minutes away! The Palco rooms are spacious and super comfortable, bed is awesome and the pillow menu adds luxury! The ac is really good, like in the US! I asked Mr. Giacomo is he could help me with a transfer to Taormina, at the very East of Sicily. He drove me for a convenient fee, giving me so much information along the way and a wonderful coffee stop at the best outlet of the island! I can only recommend Palco and wish them the very best !

Palco is the perfect place to stay. Great location including an Opera House view and celebratory Fourth of July quality fire work display from our balcony one evening. Light, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. On top of that , Stefania, her sister, and the two owners , Stefania (too) and Giacomo couldn’t be more pleasant, involved and helpful. They gave us great dinner recommendations.

We absolutely loved our stay at Palco Rooms & Suites in Palermo. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to make our visit special. They organized a wonderful private excursion for us to the Saline of the Laguna Marsala, complete with a car and driver, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. They also gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants, which turned out to be some of the best meals we’ve had in Sicily. Our room was spotless, quiet, and extremely comfortable — a perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring. The breakfast buffet each morning was a real treat, with fresh local specialties and a beautiful view of the Teatro Massimo from the breakfast room. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Palermo, close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing once inside. One thing to note, though: access to the B&B isn’t the easiest if you’re carrying heavy luggage, as there are quite a few stairs to manage before reaching the elevator. It wasn’t a big problem for us, but good to be aware of if mobility or luggage weight is an issue. Overall, we’re very grateful for everything the Palco team did for us and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Palermo. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!
