What can I say, if I had to go back to Palermo, with my eyes closed I would still choose this structure. Because of its central location, even if the Vucciria district turns into a dirty little party square in the evening. But the cleanliness of the structure, the availability and kindness of the staff which is something wonderful to which all my compliments go, the spacious capes and with all the comforts make this place a highly recommended place given the value for money.

Posizione strepitosa. Struttura antica, molto accogliente. Camera grande e pulita. A disposizione degli ospiti una bellissima terrazza panoramica e una sala con tavoli, sedie e frigorifero. Nino alla reception gentilissimo e disponibile a dare consigli su luoghi imperdibili e ristoranti al di fuori di quelli acchiappa-turisti. Straconsigliato.

B&B a due passi dal centro storico di Palermo, città piena di calore sapori e tanta gentilezza . Veniamo accolti dal Sig Marcello che ci aspetta nonostante si tarda notte , molto disponibile e cordiale, ci illustra nella cartina le varie tappe e siamo pronti al mattino x iniziare il nostro tour. Il b&b ha ampi spazi in comuni e una bellissima terrazza. La camera pulita e luminosa affaccia in una strada molto tranquilla durante il giorno e più vissuta la notte … Vucciria e piazza San Domenico sono alle porte del b&b. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo .

Ci siamo cascati anche noi malgrado le pessime recensioni, ma per fortuna abbiamo trovato in zona un ottimo b&b. Anche noi un wonderbox...chiamo per avere conferma prima di fare i biglietti aerei e mi viene data assicurazione. Il giorno dopo, a biglietti fatti, mi viene detto di inviare tutti i dati del voucher e se volevo usufruirne dovevo pagare la differenza dell' importo. Tutto questo , prima hanno subito risposto al tel, poi mi hanno detto di scrivere su w.a. .Spariti tutti, dieci telefonate poi mi viene risposto che loro dei voucher possono benissimo farne a meno. Ma allora mi chiedo: perche' non si cancellano e stanno a rompere il ca..o ???? Ma che si pensano, che veniamo tutti dalla montagna del sapone???? Per carità, statene alla larga!!!!

Good morning everyone. I was preparing to make a reservation for May and at first I was told that it wasn't possible (perhaps because I have the wonder box?!). I call the casket customer service who will forward the request to the facility on my behalf. It is still not possible to book for May but there may be unavailable dates, always for the same month (???). At this point I ask for clarification and am told to proceed and that it doesn't concern them. Further request for explanations and response: "what you think doesn't matter to me". I don't even remotely want to think that this is the tourist welcome in Palermo. I just want to imagine that the gentleman who manages the reservations for the Gattopardo lodge perhaps needs to change jobs. Any type of contact is highly discouraged. Now let's see how wonderbox will solve the problem.

Pleasant experience a stone's throw from the historic center of Palermo, a magnificent city, an explosion of heat, flavors and aromas in the air. The manager Marcello was helpful and friendly. Characteristic location with large common areas and a beautiful terrace overlooking the church of San Domenico. Clean and bright room. From there you can breathe the folklore of Vucciria and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this city. Nearby station with all the connections needed to reach the airport but also to visit the coast and the wonderful sea that you can admire from the train.
