Central and within walking distance of the center of town. Also booked a van at the hotel to travel there and back from the ancient Khmer Temple of Wat Phou about 1.5hrs away. and the Bolaven Plateau. Owner operated and owner's brother has a coffee plantation and a cafe right next to the hotel.

Expensive and no Service / only a Good Home Page … on the mini reception novody help us with Bus or something … i asked for a Room on the higher floor and get only the First floor - 50 us Dollar is much to much for a 1-2 Star Hotel Like These … Go to the much better ( and only 32 us Dollar a Night ) Pakse Hotel

Un hôtel au centre de Pakse, plein de charme, une très belle restauration a été faite par sa propriétaire avec beaucoup de goût jusqu au recrutement du personnel très professionnel. Un grand merci à Mme Sissouk pour la qualité de sa résidence. Claire et Gil.

Magnifique hôtel de charme, dans un bâtiment type colonial. Les bois exotiques et l’ ameublement chic vous transportent dans un univers des années 30. Le personnel est serviable, la cuisine sur commande est savoureuse et l’ambiance chaleureuse. Un moment inoubliable au Laos.

Une ancienne maison coloniale, transformée en chambre d’hôte par la propriétaire franco laotienne et sa famille. Un très bon accueil, de bons échanges avec la propriétaire, une rénovation de charme. Les petits déjeuners et repas sont très bons, avec des produits faits maison. Nous recommandons vivement Bernard et Marie-Pierre

Situé en plein centre de Pakse, cet hôtel possède un charme colonial incontestable. L'ascenseur est très ancien et pittoresque. Les chambres de style local traditionnel sont accueillantes avec un petit balcon et vue sur la ville. Le personnel est très sympathique. L'hôtel communique au rdc avec un café-restaurant bien pratique.

Pakse is a bit of a one horse town and there is very little there for tourists. I expect the hotel was amazing in its heyday but it has not been maintained and is expensive for a run down hotel in need of renovation. Soft furnishings were ripped and the room and bathroom were poor. it could have been so nice.

Bel hotel colonial et très bien situé dans Pakse. Des chambres très grandes et un établissement avec beaucoup de charme. Malheureusement, comme souvent au Laos, c’est assez mal tenu et l’entretien n’est pas fait correctement: problème d’eau chaude indisponible, draps tachés, salle de bain mal finie et mal équipée, travaux faits à l’économie. Le personnel ne parle quasiment pas anglais et fait de la figuration en attendant la présence ou l’intervention d’un manager si insistance des clients. Un établissement qui mérite mieux.

Lovely old colonial building, however they have added some extra glass doors to the balcony for noise insulation which meant I had 2 uninterrupted nights sleep due to the quietness of the place. Not that it's in a noisy part of town anyway. The room (43) was clean and spacious and the bed comfortable. The room had a kettle, safe, fridge, a/c and a ceiling fan. My only complaint was that the shower was only luke warm. The internet has several different WiFi signals which seem to vary in strength during my stay but I usually found one which worked and was able to make phone calls home. Food is a bit limited and for Laos is expensive, however opposite is the Parisuen cafe which had a more extensive menu and is cheaper. The staff were friendly and helpful and nearby there are a few small food shops and o couple of ATMs. All in all I would stay here again
