Sala Khaoyai

We stayed here as a family of four. It was June, so the season wasn't the best, but it was cool and the perfect place to escape the summer heat. The rooms, views, and food were all great. The staff were kind and friendly, and it was a great memory.

The overall accommodation is good in every way. The atmosphere is good, the food is delicious, and the staff during the service is okay. It's good but not very impressive compared to the 5 stars I've stayed at. However, the problem solving or the accidents in the room are negative. The incident that happened was that the pool filter had no cover and no warning signs to be careful. My girlfriend didn't know and had an incident where the filter ****** her back and got stuck on the edge of the pool. At first, she was shocked and thought it was a light bulb and she thought she was getting electrocuted, but she couldn't pull herself out because the filter ****** very hard. It took her a while to push herself out. She was very lucky to be able to get out of there. What she got was a big red bruise, the size of the filter, and she had body aches. At first, when we talked, we didn't intend to press charges, but we would notify the hotel to warn her because she had found information that there were many cases like this. She thought that if other people weren't so lucky but were ****** for longer, there was a chance that their skin would come off or they would get permanent scars. It was very scary. After informing the staff, what made us very uncomfortable was the reaction that they didn't panic and were indifferent, as if it was a normal thing for customers who came. Must be a regular occurrence (or what) The manager was not at the hotel because he went to eat and there was no reaction that showed any sincere responsibility. There was no phone call. Apart from giving a 10% discount on food and increasing it to 15% later and saying that he would contact me back because I did not see the need to wait for him to finish eating. Up until now, it has been almost 2 hours since leaving the hotel and I still have not received a call from the hotel manager. It made me feel very disappointed with this trip and paying for a 5-star hotel.
