Had a lovely week at the Briar's, David and Amanda are fantastic hosts really friendly and welcoming Our room was spotless and comfortable with a great view,Breakfast was really good with plenty off choice,and parking is a real bonus,fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

Truly wonderful stay for 4 nights . Breakfast was amazing . Room lovely and clean with so many extras . Lovely sitting room to make yourself at home and a well stocked bar area . Amanda and David were just so lovely and great hosts , nothing too much trouble , Just a perfect stay .

Truly lovely stay for 4 nights . Breakfasts were wonderful .Room lovely and clean with lots of extras . Sitting area with large TV to make yourself at home . Large bar area, well stocked and a very good price . Amanda and David such great hosts lots of local knowledge , lots of laughs and nothing too much trouble .

Our third stay at The Briars where a friendly welcome awaits. (It feels home from home) David & Amanda are so accommodating to there guests individual needs & requirements & always with a smile. The rooms are spotless and breakfast is superb. The Briars seems to attract only friendly people so a chat in the dining room or in the bar can be fun or one can sit in the lounge or the patio area if you need solitude. We spent 3 days at the The Briars last week and really enjoyed ourselves. Dave and Amanda are very obliging and helpful with local info. They work on the basis of ' MI CASA ES SU CASA '. The rooms were clean , the bed was comfortable and breakfast catered for everyone's taste. We wish them well for the future they deserve it.

I HAVE STAYED IN MANY MANY HOTELS ACROSS 3 CONTINENTS AND NEVER EXPERIENCED BETTER SERVICE THAN I DID AT THE BRIARS, PAIGNTON. HOTEL - BEAUTIFUL, LOCATION - IDEAL, HOSTS AMANDA AND DAVE SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THEY ARE BOOTH ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.

Brilliant place to stay. Hospitality and accommodation second to none. Our room had a beautiful sea view and the breakfast was delicious. Great hosts Amanda and David who are so friendly and welcoming, we have already booked up to return in 2026.

This is the second visit this year. Our room was fantastic. Sea fa in and so clean and roomy. Amanda and David are the perfect hosts can't do enough for you and full of local knowledge about where to eat places to visit etc. Can't wait to visit again next year

We have just come back from a lovely two night stay at The Briars, Amanda and Dave were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was spotless and the breakfasts were amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay by the sea
