Very nice hostess, very courteous breakfast service - special requests were accommodated. A small pool area with a braai area (which was also used); a bar and a book corner. The room had quite old furniture (wardrobe and bed boxes), very comfortable armchairs and a kitchen area with a fridge and microwave. Sufficient European sockets. Kettle and instant coffee and milk portions, as well as tea bags available. The bathroom had a bathtub and a large shower. There was even an outdoor shower (room 4). A terrace with a table and two chairs (shady) was a pleasant place to be when the temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius. You could hear the access road between the motorway and Paarl, but there was hardly any traffic at night, so it wasn't too disturbing. All in all, a relaxing stay.
