Great place to stay if road tripping between the islands of Japan. Lovely staff, good breakfast and great bath. Would recommend anyone staying to ask for a different pillow as the ones provided are about as comfy as lying on concrete. Which is sad because everything else here is amazing.

Free parking. Relatively good prices but rooms are a bit small, nice overall. Few stores across the street, not bad for late arrival.

On New Year's Eve, I came to Nagahama and stayed in this hotel. When I dislocated the Sakamoto dragon horse, the last stop in the four countries was a must-visit place for travelers who loved the history of the end of the curtain and the restoration of Sakamoto dragon horse. The price/performance ratio is very high. The room is very clean and the bedding is very dry. The surroundings are quiet and the station is just outside the door. It is a very unique Japanese-style B&B. The room has a cat door. If you hope that a kitten will come to play with you, you will not be disappointed if you open the cat door. It is definitely worth staying. The boss speaks fluent English and has a very good attitude. Breakfast was on time and quite delicious. We plan to go to Qingdao, Cat Island, the next day, and it will take a short drive to Changbin Port. Will come again in the future.
