Hampton Inn Channel Islands Harbor

Been here several times over the past decade, because of its proximity to Hollywood Beach, the Farmers Market, and Ventura Harbor which is only 7 miles away. Also used to have frequent picnics and gatherings right outside adjacent to the hotel (Peninsula Park). Seabridge Community nearby (1 mile) is great to walk around and eat. The hotel is always spotless, quiet and comfortable. The balcony views of the marina, especially at night, are terrific. The breakfast, which used to be really great even for what it was, now is downright scary. They removed the cheddar omelettes, bacon and fresh juices. They have worst quality horrific sausages dumped straight out of a freezer bag, and a terrible unedible waffle batter that falls apart when cooked. This used to be the highlight of the stay; now it's easily the worst thing; highly suggest having breakfast outside. Unfortunately, its priced into the rather expensive hotel. Costs 200-350 a night waaay too expensive but room is immaculate, I just love it. Coffee in the lobby 24/7 but most of the time its cold or lukewarm at best. A small pool if your into that sort of thing. Parking, which used to be charged I believe is now free for guests, as it should be.

never wrote a review about this hotel because they have an excellent team at the front desk. Our family always comes to this hotel. All the staff are very hospitable until I meet a very bad one. “The supervisor“ on duty who works during Memorial Day weekend Regardless of what the issues are, he presents a very condescending behavior As for me, positive guest experiences are frequently the foundation of a property's success, and a negative impression can be created if guests are not acknowledged or assisted right away.

My husband's ship pulled into Port Hueneme so I did a last minute trip to visit. Was able to get a room with a great view of the harbor. Would syay there again

Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had for a free breakfast. Staff was friendly, room was nice.
