The hotel is on the best beach in Ventura. The rooms are all suites and are clean and well decorated. The hotel's breakfast is ordered. The only drawback is that parking is charged.

The service at this hotel was truly outstanding, but the facilities fell short of expectations, especially at this price point. Our first room had a very strong mold smell that even our child noticed. Thankfully, Armando at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He quickly reassigned us, provided a $30 food and drink credit, and when the next room was delayed, he upgraded us to a presidential suite. His responsiveness and thoughtfulness completely turned the situation around. That said, the hotel itself needs some upkeep—peeling paint in common areas, slow elevators, and rust stains in the both tubs. Armando and the staff are the reason this is a 4-star review instead of lower. If the facilities matched the level of service, this could easily be a 5-star stay.

High costs for extras, i.e. parking $45 per night and resort charge. No discount for parking a disabled tagged car. Restaurant is too expensive for the food served. Staff is friendly. Overall, if you want direct beach access in a private and quiet residential neighborhood, this is the place we keep coming back to in spite of the padded bills for things we don't use.

Very disappointed Hilton! So much potential but so many overlooked details. Great location, clean beach. Room/suite was clean but balcony covered in bird poop (not cleaned). Housekeeping unfriendly. Phone didn't work in room. Huge gap under door - easily accessible for bugs/rodents. Pillows too soft. Grounds were clean, except pool area seemed unsanitary. The happy hour food very disappointing! Raw/cold wings served three times in a row - can you say salmonella!! Best happy hour items were the fish tacos. Front desk staff cold and unwelcoming from the start - was never told the features of the resort. The Airstream food truck seemed cool except they appeared not prepared for booked hotel - long breakfast lines - very slow service.

dirty dishes in hallways for a long time, pool area dirty towels everywhere, wet paper towels on pool deck, water station empty, no clean pool towels. hot tub not hot, jets didn’t work.
staff at front desk was very nice.
prices for snacks at the gift shop was ridiculously over priced.

This hotel is always my favorite. It’s very clean, spacious & right off the beach. The staff is always friendly & very accommodating!
