Had a lovely stay with Paul. The property is well presented and our large room was clean and comfortable. There is easy access to Oxford centre both walking and a bus stop very close. Headingtion has a great local feel. Surprisingly quiet as on main road into Oxford so no concerns there.

Walking distance from the hospital l had a very welcoming stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Tea of my choosing. Clean comfortable and all night heating if l wanted. Having to write minimum of 200 characters could put me off leaving a review

Very welcoming family run guest house in the Headington area. Rooms are warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The overall décor could be called dated by some or in keeping with the age and style of the house. The shower room was bag up to date though and the TV has buttons for Prime and Netflix. There is an inexhaustible supply of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and toiletries plus availability of umbrellas and hairdryers. Breakfast is not served and there are no catering facilities although nearby are 3 major supermarkets and a range of pubs, fast food outlets and other dining options.

I was staying in Oxford as my husband was in the John Radcliffe. The house is full of character, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. In addition, Paul did everything he could to make it easy for me to concentrate on my husband. This included an early check in and late check out, as well as allowing a family member to park when visiting the hospital. He could not have been kinder at a time that we really needed it. Thank you Paul.

We needed accomodation for 1 night enroute to our holiday location. Price was about £40 lower per night than we usually on our trips away from home. Overall we felt the price was about right for what was offered. Location - good. Host - excellent. Communication - excellent. Decor - dated but in good condition. Bed - comfy. Shower - on the weak side. Noise - it was a hot night and we needed the windows open, the location is on a main road and the traffic noise was very loud. Decent value for money.

We had a delightful time at the Sandfield Guest House! Paul, the host, was very knowledgable about Oxford and helped us navigate our way through the city. He also helped us figure out the best way to get to and from London. The rooms were comfortable and the entire experience was wonderful!

Sandfield Guest house is a lovely place to stay. My daughter was having surgery at the hospital nearby (10 mins walk away) hence why I booked a room for the night. Paul couldn't have been more accommodating, welcoming and helpful. The room had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable! I would 100% recommend Sandfield Guest House. Paul, thank you again for your hospitality.

A very comfortable stay. Headington is a pleasant, bustling locality with plenty of shops and amenities. Paul, the guest house owner, couldn't have been more accommodating - he was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I have booked to stay again.

For the price it is very central, in Oxford nothing comes cheap. The room was large and clean. Getting a room at the back helps so you are away from the London road, and it was much more peaceful. The host was very helpful and we would certainly stay here again. There is parking for about 4 cars on the drive.
