Vielen Dank an Varley und seine Frau. Einen wahrenTraumort den sie sich mit dieser Lodge geschaffen haben.Die Chalets und die Aussicht mit den Tieren einfach nur super.Abends wurde für uns auf der Terrasse gegrillt und ein super leckeres Menü gezaubert.Bei einem Gläschen Wein genossen wir die Ruhe nach einem langem Motorradtag.Vielen Dank das wir diesen Abend bei euch verbringen durften.

The most exciting and enjoyable part of our honeymoon was spent here. Varley and his wife are next-level hosts. The homemade food was out of this world and is freshly prepared! The rooms are neat and have everything you need for a special getaway!

Es war ein fantastisches Erlebnis, die Varley Familie ist ein tolles Gastgeber, ganz leckeres authentisches Essen, tolle Atmosphäre, Tiere und die über allen ragende Giraffe. Wir haben uns in unserem Chalet sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war einfach perfekt. 6 Sterne.

That place is amazing if you‘re looking for pure nature. The Lodge is about 30 min. away from Oudtshoorn and it has only very few cottages. In the evening you sit on the terrace by the fire and can watch Oryx, Zebras, a Giraffe etc. passing by. Varley and Hannalize are very hospitable and their cooking is outstanding (the bar too!) Waking up in the morning and watch the sun rise over the mountains is breathtaking!

Dear Hannalize, dear Varley, your are generous and friendly hosts, Congratulations to your peaceful and wonderful Zwartberg Mountain View Lodge We enjoyed very much our stay of 3 days in the well equiped Zebra Chalet. In the beautiful Red Mountains around your lodge, we had very interesting walks and met many peaceful animals. In the late afternoon it was very nice to observe the different animals, living in your farm, the majestic Girafe or the Kudu and the springbock The dinners, you prepared in the evening have been wonderful compositons of different flavours. Thanks for your advices to different drives, we enjoyed the lions feeding, the cheethas and also the huge awesome Cango cave. Wolfgang and Margot

Wat hebben we genoten! Een prachtige en rustige plek met een adembenemende uitzicht. We zijn ontzettend verwend door de eigenaren die altijd klaar staan met advies en hulp. Zelfs onderweg kregen we al routes met beste tussenstop toegestuurd. Het eten is meer dan fantastisch en kregen we de porties niet op. Een plek die te bereiken is via wat off the road rijwerk wat het gelijk al iets avontuurlijk maakt. Echt te leuk en we hebben mega genoten.

Wir sind jetzt schon das zweite Mal an diesem wunderbaren Ort gewesen und waren wieder einfach nur sehr glücklich. Die Landschaft ist einfach unglaublich aber auch die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Zimmer sind mit allem mehr als reichlich ausgestattet. Aber die Gastgeber sind von allem die größte Sensation und unterstützen einem in allen Belangen. Uns wurde im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eine Unterkunft im Nirgendwo.
Der Eigentümer gibt sich viel Mühe dem Gast einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen.
Das Essen war gut zubereitet, die Tischdeko mit viel Liebe jeden Tag anders gestaltet.

Great Experience—just the place for RUSTIC people!!! Easy access and lots of opportunities for mountain biking in the area. The Owners are warm-hearted and caring for their guests. Definitely recommendable!
