We stayed here for 3 nights and the accommodation was superb . The meals in the evening were very tasty albeit for young appetites. You will not go hungry. The pool was clean and one could look over the balcony with a sundowner viewing the animals including the giraffe.the only hassle was the drive to Bufflesdrift for the game drives. Ok with a high vehicle on the graded back rod or 30 minutes on the main road

Wat een geweldig unieke plek. Bij aankomst kom je meteen tot rust. Goed bereikbaar maar wel lekker rustig gelegen. De eigenaren Varley en Hannalize doen er alles aan om je verblijf een succes te maken. Goede tips, heerlijk eten met geweldig gedekte tafels, en goede gesprekken. Onze lodge was heerlijk. Heel goed bed, schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien. Vroeg in de ochtend op je terras zitten en de dieren voorbij zien komen is een feestje. In de omgeving is voldoende te ondernemen. Dus trek echt een paar dagen uit voor je verblijf hier. Dan ervaar je echt het unieke concept. Kortom, het is niet de vraag óf we terugkeren naar deze plek maar eerder wanneer dat het geval zal zijn. I really enjoyed my stay at Zwartberg view mountain lodge. Beds are huge and comfortable. Dinner was absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed using the swimming pool that overlooks the game viewing area.

Our fantastic travel agency „Venter Tours“ suggested this very tranquil location to us as we wanted to experience another side of South Africa than the beaches of the garden route. We are so glad that we took this decision and would trade a night in CT for a third night here. Varley and Hannalize make you feel at home from the very first second. Everything is easy going and individually arranged. The animals are terrific and so up close.

Wir sind zum 3. Mal da gewesen und bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal. Absolut traumhafte Lodge, man fühlt sich, wie in einer anderen Welt. Cottages sehr sauber, ansprechend eingerichtet, großes bequemes Bett, komfortable Dusche und schöne Sitzgelegenheiten auf der eigenen kleinen Terrasse mit atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die Tiere und die Natur. Die netten zuvorkommenden Besitzer erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Ob Sonderwünsche beim Essen oder bei der Planung von Ausflügen. Sundowner mit Ausblick auf Zebras, Giraffe, Oryx, Antilopen..... . Das Essen, egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen auf höchstem Niveau. Das was hier gezaubert wird hat mindestens 1 Stern verdient. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir lieben es. Danke an euch Alle

This was absolutely my favourite stay on our holidays! My Dad was celebrating his 60th birthday there. We stayed 3 nights at the swartberg Lodge and all in all it was perfect! The incredible view over the hole area, the amazing food from Hannalize! By the way, she absolutely earns a ‚Michelin Star‘!! The lovely Family…. At the end it was a perfect stay and we will come back with our ladys asap! Thanks for all!! Kind regards, Daniel Burkl

What a magnificent place!! Heaven on earth! We absolutely loved our stay here, just sad we did not stay longer. Stunning accommodation, awesome hosts, delicious food, beautiful wildlife. I cannot recommend it enough!! Thank you for a magical stay.
