Aangename maar basic kamers. Met heel leuk eigen terras dat uitkijkt op grasland. Kamers waren heel net en beschoten over waterkoker en koelkast. Stokstaartjes (meerkatten) activiteit is een echte aanrader. Belangrijk om dit op voorhand te reserveren. Plaatsen per groep zijn beperkt! Vertrek naar site is vroeg s morgens rond 5.45

This location is a little piece of paradise located in the Karoo region of South Africa. Beautiful rooms, peace and quiet and some of the nicest and most accommodation people anywhere. The meerkats, fish eagles and grey herons were brilliant! Would be absolutely perfect if they got rid of the plastic bottles.

Entramos el 26/10 y limpiaron la habitación el 20/10. Las flores estaban secas en el jarrón con el agua sucia, el minibar vacío. Habitación grande però con cosas rotas y viejas. Hotel antiguo, sensación de ambiente frío y no calidez. Necesita alguna que otra reforma. En medio de la nada, lo único positivo junto al personal.

On a apprécié cette étape dans cet agréable Guesthouse. Déjà, on a l'impression d'être attendu vu que notre nom est inscrit sur un panneau à l'extérieur pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue ! Sympa. Accueil souriant et agréable. Les chambres sont grandes, bien agencées et se marient avec l'esprit de la région. Grand lit avec bonne literie, produits / savon dans une grande douche, salle de bain bien agencée avec peignoirs. WC séparés et joli balcon. Belle piscine. Un havre de calme qui nous a bien préparé à notre excursion pour voir les suricates. Bel environnement et hôtel bien situé pour cette excursion.

We verbleven hier twee nachten tijdens onze roadtrip door ZA. We troffen een koude periode, en het waaide nogal. De kamer die wij kregen was wat donker, de lampen geven afschuwelijk licht en er is geen tv. Geen TV is normaliter niet zo’n probleem, maar als je aanwezen bent op je kamer door minder weer, dan is wat entertainment wel fijn. De houtkachel op de kamer was wel een leuke toevoeging, al werd het er niet warmer van. Eén van de twee avonden hier gegeten, OK, niet super. Vooral de sfeer in het restaurant laat te wensen over, rammelende koelkast, fel licht en tocht door de ramen en kozijnen. Personeel is allemaal erg vriendelijk een attent. Ik denk dat we met een zomerse ervaring een andere verhaal hadden, maar het is nou eenmaal niet altijd zomer en waren we blij dat we naar onze volgende bestemming vertrokken na 2 nachten.

Visited De Zeekoe for a friend’s birthday 70th birthday party and decided to stay over that night. Beautifully equipped room with all the luxury things you could imagine. Fireplace, air conditioner and a nice warmed bed. The function food was excellent!! Very friendly staff all round. Highly recommended.

Zeer vriendelijke en persoonlijke ontvangst (namen staan op bord aan inkom). Ontbijt: verse eieren en spek, verse gebakken cupcakes en specialiteit: zoute pannenkoek met spek. Fruitsap wel uit pakje, koffie uit pot maar tegen betaling espresso beschikbaar. Ter plekke dineren is eveneens mogelijk: beperkte kaart maar correct qua prijs/kwaliteit. Propere kamers met klamboe maar ook extra matrasverwarming, muggenspray. Goeie bedden. Mooi balkon met bankje kussens en tafeltje. Winkeltje met handtassen, pluchen… Bieden avondactiveiten aan (sterrenkijken, is aanrader) en als ochtendactiviteit stokstaartjes spotten. Minpunt: zeer onstabiele wifi

A fantastic location from which to see the ‘Five Shy Meerkats’ - a truly special and remarkable experience. We were there in winter but heated blankets made the rooms cosy. Accommodating staff and great evening meal. A peaceful stay on our otherwise busy trip.
