The property is on the outskirts of Otranto but very close to the city, in a quiet area, in the countryside where you could still see the sea. We moved around Salento by bike and the distance from the city was really minimal. Some of our group even went on foot. The access road, the green area and the white farmhouse made the arrival special right from the start. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, equipped with air conditioning, comfortable bed, kettle with herbal teas, terrace with table, chairs and useful clothes horse, as well as well decorated. One evening we had dinner in the hotel restaurant where we had a good time, but nothing memorable. Breakfast was amazing, both in terms of location with tables both inside and outside among the olive trees, and in terms of food and drinks offered. The pasticciotti were the best of the whole holiday. There is a beautiful swimming pool where we were able to relax and swim in our free moments. I needed a medical visit and at the reception I had the necessary information to reach the medical guard. The few negative and absolutely not serious things were: - upon arrival no one explained to us where the pool was (so we had to search a bit to find it) and where breakfast was served (we waited in vain in front of the restaurant, while it is held in a special room), - the staff was a bit noisy during breakfast, despite being kind and attentive: the boys spoke loudly among themselves, laughed and asked almost shouting between the tables who had ordered the various coffees, cappuccinos, etc. - at night, until a late hour for us of a certain age and when we would have liked to sleep anyway, from our room we could hear the voices of the restaurant or kitchen staff who were tidying up before closing. Overall it is definitely a hotel to recommend and one to which we would return.
