Loved every minute of our stay. The sundowner drive was the highlight as we stopped on a viewpoint on top of a hill, where we had drinks and snacks and watched the sunset with giraffes just a few meters from us. What I also liked about this lodge is that although we saw several animals across the 2 days, it wasn’t overcrowded like some lodges tend to be these days.

Preis und Leistung der an sich netten Lodge haben eine gewaltige Unwucht. Alles ist trainiert freundlich lässt aber jede Wärme vermissen. Der "Kochkurs" war enttäuschend, ein Chef oder besser Chefin die alles vom Zettel abliest und irgendwann verschwindet weil nichts gelingt, das hatten wir uns anders vorgestellt. Die Massage war gut und obwohl der Raum etwas kalt war, durchaus empfehlenswert. Den Frusttopf gefüllt hat dann das Verhalten nachdem wir ein Paar Trecking Schuhe vergessen hatten und man nicht in der Lage war diese innerhalb von 14 Tagen irgendwo in der Nähe des Etosha in einer Lodge zu hinterlegen. Nun ja, Windhoek innerhalb von 4 Wochen hat dann wenigstens funktioniert. Jedes Guesthouse, jede Guestfarm in der Nähe besitzt mehr Flair und Kundenfreundlichkeit. Wir sind nachhaltig entäuscht.

We stayed at Otjiwa for 1 night at the camping site. The facilities were very clean including warm water to shower which is very welcome after a cold night in the tent. Where Otjiwa excells is in the service and its restaurant. We had a feeling that we were in an intimate retraite in the middle of Africa. They have a wide offer of activities. We highly recommend the sundowner game drive.

Très bel établissement au calme. Accueil professionnel et très chaleureux. Les chambres catégories élégants sont soigneusement décorées ambiance out of Africa donnant sur un point d’eau. Très bon restaurant et excellent petit déjeuner, le personnel très prévenant et d’une extrême gentillesse. À recommander pour une première étape quand vous débutez votre séjour.

Sehr schöne Lodge, toller aber sehr kalter Pool Gartenanlage und tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten um den Pool. Essen auch sehr gut. Wir haben die Walking Safari gemacht und Nashörner im Sonnenaufgang gesehen. War ein tolles Erlebnis zu Fuss unterwegs zu sein. Auch die Ebike Tour mit dem Guide war wirklich ein unvergessliches Abenteuer.

Best staff ever. Nicest place of our Namibian trip, very beautiful, thoughtful staff, good food, and all for a decent price. And I highly recommand the sundowner game drive, very knowledgeable guide, and very good appetizers ! Thank you again !
