This place has an Old African vibe, nothing is modern, but it takes you back to the roots and traditions of a true African experience, we met the Manger Hencu who was amazing, professional and friendly. Emma was also very kind and our children loved her. Thank you for making our visit special.

Die Unterkunft war schön und wir haben ein kostenloses Zimmer Upgrade bekommen. Leider ist das Frühstück doch ziemlich mau aber das wichtigste war vorhanden. Am Ende haben wir Probleme gehabt dass die Zahlung (über *******) nicht angekommen sei. Nach viel Diskussion war dann aber alles in Ordnung :) die hippos und Nashörner sind einmalig. Die löwenfütterung hingegen mit persönlich zu touristisch

Perfect stay. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The property is well kept, the food was great (especially dinner), and the game drive kept us excited to see many wild animals. Highly recommend.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal auf Mount Etjo und dieses Mal noch begeisterter als beim ersten Mal. Das Wasserloch war unglaublich gut besucht aufgrund der Trockenheit, man konnte wirklich den ganzen Tag lang eine aufregende Vielzahl an Tieren sehen. Die Zimmer finde ich nach wie vor einfach super, auch der Pool ist wunderschön und beim Abendessen sowie Frühstück bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen, es ist einfach ein wunderschöner Ort.

Mount Edjo Lodge is an impressive, spacious, and well-maintained lodge with a beautiful garden and charming decor. Situated by a pond, the surrounding nature offers ample opportunities to spot wildlife right from the lodge. I enjoyed a private game drive in the morning and joined a group safari in the evening, including a unique experience feeding lions at night. The one-on-one rhino tracking was an absolute must-do. We saw a variety of animals: lions, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and more. Highly recommended!

It's a quick trip from the City of Windhoek. On arrival we saw hippo, impala, Waterbuck, springbok, giraffe, pelicans, flamingos. The birds and animals live comfortable at the dam in front of your lodge. This gives you a full daylight view from sunrise to sunset. A 3 hour game drive offers Rhino, Elephant and a great selection of buck plus giraffe. A night drive to an enclosure gives you an opportunity of lions feeding within meters !! We counted over 30 species of birds ( to our knowledge). Besides the very cooling stone rooms, beautiful pool and superb cuisine,your trip to Mount Edjo will be your most memorable one in Namibia.
