酒店地理位置還可以，小樽站可步行至酒店，酒店後面就是去天狗山的公交車站。酒店門前就是小樽運河，不過景觀房性價比很低，一條很窄的河，沒什麼看頭，晚上也沒什麼夜景，所以完全沒必要訂景觀房，吃早餐是坐靠窗一樣可以看到運河。
運河景觀雙床房在北樓，北樓房間裝修偏老式，傢俱也是有年代感的那種，裝修老式倒沒什麼，但鏡子周邊的裝飾上肉眼可見的都是灰塵，這個就有點讓人無語了。洗手間台盆很矮，水龍頭也是那種老式的，房間窗户開了關不上，原來是要按下紅色點點的地方才行。
訂單帶酒店早餐自助，雖然品種不算多，但味道都還不錯。
酒店樓上有温泉，但室內就一個很小的湯池，室外湯是男女隔天輪流使用的。
