Hotel Sonia Otaru

It's about a 10-minute walk from Otaru Station. The canal is across the street, and the canal attractions are a few minutes away. The hotel is relatively old, the facilities are average, and the furniture is very old Three-bed room, two beds + a sofa bed The suitcase can only be placed in the aisle The hot spring on the roof is not bad. After soaking, there is a massage chair facing the canal!

The hotel is conveniently located, about a 15-minute walk from the JR station. You can also request to have the Otaru Canal View Hotel arranged when booking a hotel. However, the hygiene of the room was disappointing. The wooden cabinets were dusty and showed signs of aging. The most terrible thing was that there were stains on the bed sheets. The room was on the 9th floor, and the Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak. Replies to messages on the communication software could not be sent.  Even though I reported it to the front desk immediately, I didn't get any help. Very helpless.

It's right across the Otaru Canal, great for the Otaru Snow Festival! The front desk service is satisfactory, there is a direct phone to book your own taxi. Although the hot spring only has one pool, it is big enough for ten or eight, unfortunately only the ladies' side has more than one outdoor pool. There are two free massage chairs in the lounge, and by the way, the front desk can help book the Japanese lady massage for 1100 yen per ten minutes, quite a good gesture! The breakfast is rich, with all the congee, noodles and rice. The milk is so good! If there are good reviews I will post the milk, ha.
