Otaru Village

I stayed here on a solo motorcycle trip. It was helpful that there was a garage. If you just plan on staying there to sleep, you can stay here comfortably.

This time we used the car, so the review will be based on that premise. We were able to park the car in a covered garage-like area, which was great because in winter in Hokkaido, snow piles up overnight and you have to clear the snow from around your car the next morning, but this was great because there was no need to worry about that. A walkway-like passageway connects the garage to the room, so it's nice to be able to get to the car without having to worry about snow or rain. I think the ceramic heater in the room is a little underpowered. However, kerosene fan heaters and stoves are difficult to use due to safety concerns. As for the location, it was conveniently located close to both Otaru and Sapporo.

I often stay here, and I think it's a space where women can stay with peace of mind. The place is kept very clean, and the water areas (restroom, bath, washbasin, shared space, refrigerator, etc.) are all clean and safe. Both the Western-style room (twin) on the second floor and the futon room on the first floor were decorated with stylish accessories, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The owner is a very friendly and nice person, and you can tell that he has paid attention to the small details. The location is close to both Teine and Zenibako Beach, and even though it is located right off Route 5, it is very quiet. I slept soothingly listening to the sounds of insects. It is also convenient that the space is quite spacious and free, even if you are staying by car. I would like to stay here again when I visit Sapporo.

I have used this place many times and always feel at ease when using it. I highly recommend it because the owner is so nice, and his consideration, warmth and personality are reflected in the environment and building. I had requested tissues before, and was impressed that they were provided right away this time. This is a private lodging that really thinks about the feelings and comfort of its guests. I think I'll use it again often.
