I drove to Otaru in early May. The weather was 5°C, which was very cold. The hotel room air conditioner had adjustable heating, which was very warm. There was a bathing area, and it was very quiet at night. It was very close to the JR station and Sanmon Market. I only had to walk to the nearby Otaru Canal and nearby tourist attractions. I stayed at the Otaru Green Hotel Annex. The bath wasn't inside the hotel, but was in a separate bath building across the road. It was very clean and I was able to take a relaxing bath, which was very satisfying.
