The night staff, girl and a man gave excellent service and a tour of the renovated part. Took good care of us. The daytime reception desk should learn how to smile. Bar staff was super nice Recommend staying at the renovated part. Kinda historical feeling. But hard to book.

Very reasonable price for a nice package: evening meal, night, breakfast - nice and good meal - at night good - I was leaving at 7 a.m. (breakfast opening at 8 a.m. on Saturday), I was provided with a takeaway bag Regret: breakfast time on Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m.: too late

Really loved the location which was a 3 min walk away from Oslo Central Station and surrounded by shopping malls! Check in was easy as the concierge is open 24/7 and although the room wasn’t spacious, it was comfortable enough for 2! Super loved their wide spread of buffet breakfast and there’s also a live egg station! Will recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Scandic Byporten from July 4 to July 7, 2025. The location is perfect — right next to the central station, which made getting around Oslo incredibly easy. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo!

First time staying in a Radisson property. Shower in bathtub and there was no anti-slip mat provided. Getting out of the tub each time is a huge challenge: the moving glass divider is not a good thing to hold on to. Getting out of the tub has only a small area to land with 2 sharp edges of the basin facing you. As a Radisson Premium, I got upgraded to a ‘Family Room’ with basically an extra bed setup. Its hilarious as there’s two of us, what good does the bed do for us? Upgrade is totally meaningless! They dont provide slippers and gave me all sorts of cock and bull that it used to be provided for each room but Management changed their decision 2 months ago. I asked for it and was declined. Breakfast was average after having exprienced Clarion The Hub. TV Remote offers Netflix but when I clicked on it, it says Netflix is not available. Called Front Desk and they told me they will try to fix it on their end, and if not possible, will send a technician up. I have checked out after 3 nights and still no technician cane. There is a massive construction opposite the Hotel: a building being destroyed so noise and air pollution greet you daily. Location is walking distance to Oslo Central Station, 10 minutes walk to Munch Museum. Service from all Staff is nothing worth mentioning. Staff are all simply functional: my first and last time staying in a Radisson Property. They can remove my Premium status for all I care. Room 1725

We got the family room, spacious clean really lovely, everything seemed intact and in place with no old equipment to note. Breakfast was more than sufficient, lots of cold cuts fresh bread, salads, cheese, freshly cooked fried/scrambled/boiled eggs bacon and sausages. Juices and coffees all available. Reception spoke english well. Very very central location, convenient to walk or take public transport, including to the airport. Highly recommend for the pricing

The service was excellent. The room was spacious enough for two people and had all the basic amenities. For added security, you need your room key card to access the lobby after hours.
