Great location. The breakfast buffet had a big variety of food and I really enjoyed it. The lounge was cozy and staff was really nice.
However, the room is not worth the price I paid for. The room is small with the sink and mirror facing the bed. It is impractical to have the sink in the main room, and to have the mirror facing the bed, which has bad spritual meaning. Toothbrushes are not included, and there is no hair conditioner. There is also no air conditioning, but it is okay since Oslo is a cold city. There are several bugs in the corner of the room, and stains could be seen everywhere. The shower is insanely small, which is not friendly for people with bigger body types. There is also no physical lock in the door of the rooms.
Overall, everything about the hotel is nice except the room.

Stayed here several times because of the great location in Bogstadveien. Close to stores and restaurants. Expensive but convenient 2 hour parking right in front. Nice people in the reception. The breakfast is ok, but nothing special. We had a double room for one night with an extra bed brought in for our kid. The fold out bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, only good for one night. We were woken up in the middle of the night by loud music playing. Thought first it came from an apartment building next door, but it turned out it was turned on accidentally by someone at the hotel. As it lasted more than an hour I don’t know how that was possible. All in all ok for a short stay, but nothing special.

Having stayed in two other Thon hotels (including Thon Opera in Oslo), I was a little disappointed with this hotel. Whilst the decor of the foyer looked enticing, the room lacked character ... and the brown bathroom was straight out of the 1970s. Having said that, my room was spacious, quiet and clean, and I slept well. I didn't like the breakfast setup. Offerings were quite good, but the food area was crowded and did not flow well - and I didn't like eating in what is a Mexican restaurant during the day. The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant and friendly.

The room was very tiny, almost resembling a student dorm. It was also very dirty, with stains on the bedside table and the desk. The sink was located next to the bed and not in the bathroom. This also had stains it with, looking like somone had brushed their teeth in it. There were also stains on the wall next to the toilet.
