The front desk said that I had to wait until 3 o'clock, because it was written on it, so I waited. Later, a Japanese person arrived at 2:55 and asked for check-in😞. It doesn't matter if it's OK or not. Well, everyone who follows him checks in better than me. There is no water supply in the room, so you have to boil water yourself. However, there is a free ice machine at the front desk. You can only boil water and add ice. I only take out the trash and don't tidy the room. Laundry costs 400 yen. Pajamas are provided, but there is no hot spring. It is not suitable for this hotel at all. There is no wardrobe. Three sets of thick and useless pajamas have to be found by yourself. In fact, it is the same as toothpaste and toothbrushes. You have to go to the front desk to carry them first. Conclusion: You need to book the Universal Studios Station Hotel in advance. The price is actually not too expensive. If the price of this hotel is acceptable (less than $1500 a night), don’t miss it.

This place exceeded all our expectations! At first, we were just happy to have a place to spend the night so close to Universal Studios Japan without breaking the bank. But once we got there, it was clear that there was so much more than just proximity to USJ. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. They spoke superb English, too! It's a hostel so you can get towels for a small fee, you share showers and bathrooms, you take care of your own linen when you arrive and upon leaving, etc.---the usual stuff, which is explained very clearly. They also have a vending machine with cold drinks on the ground floor. Our room was HUGE. We had a private room with bunk beds for just me and my 8-year-old, but there could have been room for at least three other people (a huge difference from our tiny hotel room in Shinjuku). The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and a perfect place to get some rest after spending a whole day on your feet. The play area on the ground floor was quite loud when we checked in, with kids running everywhere. Still, we couldn't hear them from our room upstairs. At any rate, quiet hours start at 10 pm. Every resident there seemed very nice when sharing space around the sinks, and my kid and I felt very safe using the shared showers and bathrooms. We got 1.5-day tickets to USJ so we only stayed one night. We checked out on our own (very) early the next morning and, again, all the instructions were very easy to follow. I just wish I got to say ”bye” to the staff person who greeted us the night before. He was delightful and I wish him well!

It was my first time staying in such a family hotel. The owner was a kind and patient sister from Guangzhou. She explained everything clearly and completely solved the language barrier. My flight was delayed on the day of check-in, and the sister couldn't contact me, but she still waited for me in the hotel until late to check in. Thank you very much! The location is very convenient for travel. The hotel can be reached from Taisho Station, Kujo Station and Mae Chiyozaki Station. The hotel has all the toiletries and a washing machine, which is very convenient. If you are looking for cost-effectiveness, please don't miss it!

We arrived earlier than the check in time, and are able to drop off the luggages at the reception and come back later for check in for free. The staff can speak multiple languages, (Japanese, English, Chinese,etc) able to communicate without any problem. Room is very clean and cleaning service is provided each day. Location is close to Nanba. Very convenient. Close to a metro station as well, easy to locate. Would recommend.

改装されたそうで、フロントもロビーも、部屋もキレイです。 ＪＲ新今宮駅を出てすぐだし、ほんとに泊まるだけなら安いです。 ただ、理解しておかなければならないのは、トイレ、お風呂は部屋にはありません。トイレは階に１か所の共同トイレ（男女別）です。お風呂は大浴場か、シャワールームの利用になります。私が利用した部屋は３畳の畳部屋。布団が一式。 土曜日でもう開いているところがなくて利用しましたが、泊まるところがなければ利用も全然ＯＫだと思います。とにかく料金が安いので、その辺は了解できます。土曜日でも３８００円でしたから。 プライベートはしっかり守られますので、カプセルホテルより断然いいです。バックパッカーとかにはおすすめです。 なので、若い学生さんや、工事関係の連泊、外国人さんなどが多いようです。 ただ、よくわかりませんが、ロビーやシャワールームって、宿泊者以外の人も利用している感じがするのは私だけなのかな？

Location is great, service was good and breakfast was the best. It was near the famous Glico man. It is also within walking distance to Parco and other great stores. ABC Mart, Uniqlo, Atmos are near. As to food trips, there are a lot of ramen places around. Namba Station is about 1 kilometer away, which can be easily be walked even with luggages, where you can board the Nankai Line to Kansai Airport. Yes, the airport is just a train ride away, no need to hire expensive private transfers.

Location is bit far from Osaka station, which the osaka station is one of the main shopping areas, also most of the popular restaurants are located in the Osaka station instead, thus the location of the hotel is quite far from that. The room is small, not able to open two luggages at the same time in the room, but the service and facilities are good.

I got a free upgrade and was able to spend a comfortable time❣️ I was very impressed that they guided me to the elevator at check-in! You can also rent equipment if you ask at the front desk!

This hotel is not bad and also looks new. The downside is they don’t have laundromat. However there is a l laundry shop nearby  Even though the front desk doesn’t really speak English, but they are really nice with the positive attitude unlike the Via Inn hotel near shinsaibashi I will come again next time. 

Very satisfied. The price is very reasonable. There is no price increase during holidays. The equipment is very new. I forgot to take pictures. The pictures are the same as the ones shown. The pictures are of nearby Takoyaki and Nara.
