Hotels with Breakfast in Orvieto

We loved our one-night stay at this hotel. The town is wonderful, and the hotel is wonderfully situated. We walked the 15 minutes from the top of the funicular. Our room was a corner room on the 5th floor, with a large balcony on one side and a smaller balcony (still large enough for two chairs and a table) on the other side. Breakfast was quite nice. The location is within a ~5 minute walk of a number of great restaurants, several beautiful piazzas including the Duomo. Will definitely be back on a future trip!

Orvieto sits like an island of tuffa, floating above the valley. The city hosts one of the most spectacular cathedrals in Italy. And along its one mile corso, there are many shops and restaurants offering Umbrian dishes, like the famous cingale (wild boar). The Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini is ideally located at one end of the city, near the entrance from the parking area below. You step out the door and follow the narrow streets onto the main Corso. The hotel is surprisingly large, with a fine lobby of bar and sitting areas. The room vary from small but cozy to large apartment like units. An new ”underground' bar (like a cave in the tuffa rock of the city) was under construction while we were there. The people running the hotel are ready with anything you need, including tips on seeing the best of Orvieto. A very pleasant stay!

The room is very clean, the size is right, and the equipment is new and complete. The breakfast is very delicious for European ones. There are a variety of breads and the service is good. As soon as you enter the door, you will be asked if you want hot tea and coffee. There is no self-service machine that puts the hotel down. taste. In addition, the location is also very good, you can see the church as soon as you leave the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay with Casa Vera! We stayed in the Orchid suite and it was perfect for us. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast had a nice little assortment. The Enoteca was also fun to go to. We did a flight of local wines and had some snacks which were delicious. For dinner, we went to both restuarants they recommended and they were fantastic (Mamma Angela and La Grotta) . We fell in love with the town of Orvieto and can't wait to return.

What a spectacular experience! We visited here for my brothers wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The setting is incredible and so is the service. The rooms are clean. The beds are hard and pillows not great but overall it was a great experience. We prefer cold drinks but unfortunately they were always cold. The reception lady was a bit rude at times too The biggest disappointment was getting ripped off by taxi into town - should be no more than 10euro - we paid 45euro for a 5 minute trip (this isn’t the fault of the hotel though)

This accommodation was excellent. It was easy to find and as promised a parking space had been saved for us. Once we parked up for the weekend, the car didn't move until we left. We were met by the host Giacabo and he gave us time to go through the map, highlighting all the things to see in the town and places to eat. Breakfast was provided as a self service idea, and was plentiful. It would be an ideal location for people who maybe want to be able to prepare some food for babies etc as it has a small fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom was lovely and clean and we slept exceptionally well on the bed. Although being right beside the Duomo I was never woken by noise of the church bells or people outside. Would really recommend it.

Very conveniently located at the eastern edge of the town centre within easy walking distance of all the attractions of this lovely hilltop location near the border of Umbria and Lazio. Rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is the Italian standard with lots of bread, croissants, cakes, yoghurt and coffee. There is also a charming baIcony area overlooking the Corso Cavour. I would definitely stay again.

It's hard reviewing a $60/night place. I had low expectations (although some of the reviews suggested something more) at that level but was looking for inexpensive spot because I was traveling solo and wasn't going to spend anytime in the room other than to sleep. Adequate for that purpose. Clean. And friendly. Rosana went out of her way to explain the town and was quite helpful. Note that it is located in a triangle between two streets, so you can get some traffic noise although not too much traffic at night, and nothing a white noise app can't handle. I had higher hopes for breakfast but it was very basic, with the hostess serving a piece of breakfast sweet tart, a slice or two of bread, cheese and ham, softboiled egg and a small thing of yogurt. And coffee to order. I left hungry. Perhaps I should've asked for more but nothing was offered, and I didnt want to be pushy.

The environment is very beautiful, you must drive there by yourself, because the farm does not provide meals, and breakfast is very simple, so you must drive out by yourself or buy it back to eat. The facilities are okay, but the soundproofing is not very good, it will noisy each other, it is clean, very cozy, the rooms are also very large, there is also a common living room and indoor viewing platform. The proprietress had prepared well, just as the temperature was cooling down, she was preparing for the newly bought blanket. Other services are nothing, breakfast is very simple, cakes, eggs, coffee, tea, yogurt, cereals, no salty. There are no other people here, and there are no other houses within about 2 kilometers around. Strictly speaking, it should not be regarded as a hotel, it is a very good homestay.
