The room is very clean, the size is right, and the equipment is new and complete. The breakfast is very delicious for European ones. There are a variety of breads and the service is good. As soon as you enter the door, you will be asked if you want hot tea and coffee. There is no self-service machine that puts the hotel down. taste. In addition, the location is also very good, you can see the church as soon as you leave the hotel.

We loved this vineyard hotel. Located in the countryside near Orvieto, it offers gorgeous views, beautiful surroundings and wonderful service. The restaurant is outstanding, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. For example, one afternoon, we missed lunch. However, the very helpful woman at the front desk prepared a meal for us of cold meat, cheese, bread and tomatoes, along with a bottle of the Locanda’s excellent white wine. We enjoyed the nearby trails, the garden and the pool area. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return someday.

”This hotel was simply amazing! The rooms were not only clean but also very spacious, providing us with all the comfort we could ask for. One of the highlights was the stunning view from our balcony—it was like waking up in a postcard every morning. The restaurant served delicious meals with a variety of options to satisfy every palate. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing with very few choices. The overall atmosphere at the hotel was serene and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. We were a bit let down by the communication issues, with poor reception and Wi-Fi that didn’t work very well, but overall we were so impressed with everything that we are already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!”

This hotel has been around for a while.
Very beautiful.
The hotel is very new,
opened just last October.
The service is very good,
every staff is very enthusiastic.
The hotel facilities are also very good.
The hair dryer is a Dyson (rare in Europe),
and the price is affordable.
The breakfast is very big, with a lot of pastry.
I really hope to come again.
I originally wanted to book a suite, but I thought it was unnecessary for one person.
Later I drove to see the suite and it was very worthwhile.
I recommend it!

Orvieto sits like an island of tuffa, floating above the valley. The city hosts one of the most spectacular cathedrals in Italy. And along its one mile corso, there are many shops and restaurants offering Umbrian dishes, like the famous cingale (wild boar). The Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini is ideally located at one end of the city, near the entrance from the parking area below. You step out the door and follow the narrow streets onto the main Corso. The hotel is surprisingly large, with a fine lobby of bar and sitting areas. The room vary from small but cozy to large apartment like units. An new ”underground' bar (like a cave in the tuffa rock of the city) was under construction while we were there. The people running the hotel are ready with anything you need, including tips on seeing the best of Orvieto. A very pleasant stay!

GGuest UserWhat a heavenly stay I was fortunate enough to have here! I stayed for 5 nights. I arrived by train and was collected by the hotel's driver which was pre-arranged. My room was spacious and cool and so very comfortable. I was thrilled to discover I had a solid large table at which to sit. The care and attention that emanated from everywhere is a testament to Francesca and her family. The hand made furniture and embroidered tablecloth and bed linen in my room, enhanced the homely atmosphere. Francesca's friendliness and warmth, combined with her sound detailed advice and recommendations, made my stay so relaxing and memorable. As I didn't have a car I used the mountain path behind the hotel to walk up to Orvieto. It was steep but gave fabulous views on the way and at the top. Breakfast was plentiful and homemade, served by a charming young lady whose name I forget, who was always smiling and personable. It was so lovely to be greeted by her each morning. The restaurant across the road was where I took my evening meals. I enjoyed the gorgeous gardens and the swimming pool. I would return in a heartbeat.

SSusie GWe absolutely loved our stay with Casa Vera! We stayed in the Orchid suite and it was perfect for us. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast had a nice little assortment. The Enoteca was also fun to go to. We did a flight of local wines and had some snacks which were delicious. For dinner, we went to both restuarants they recommended and they were fantastic (Mamma Angela and La Grotta) . We fell in love with the town of Orvieto and can't wait to return.

”This hotel was simply amazing! The rooms were not only clean but also very spacious, providing us with all the comfort we could ask for. One of the highlights was the stunning view from our balcony—it was like waking up in a postcard every morning. The restaurant served delicious meals with a variety of options to satisfy every palate. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing with very few choices. The overall atmosphere at the hotel was serene and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. We were a bit let down by the communication issues, with poor reception and Wi-Fi that didn’t work very well, but overall we were so impressed with everything that we are already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!”

This was such a wonderful hotel. The location is perfect being right at the square and walking distance to everything. We wish we could’ve stayed longer as this was so relaxing after a trip to Rome. The gardens are beautiful and have an amazing view. We were welcomed with open arms by Arita(?) and Nina the snorty, happy house dog. The furnishings are simple but you have everything you need. The continental breakfast was plentiful and they gave us great suggestions for food. Momma Angelina’s on the square was amazing. We woke up to a market on the square which is there on Thursday and Saturday which had all kinds of clothing and food items. We would stay here again and again if we make it back to Orvieto.

GGuest UserThis accommodation was excellent. It was easy to find and as promised a parking space had been saved for us. Once we parked up for the weekend, the car didn't move until we left. We were met by the host Giacabo and he gave us time to go through the map, highlighting all the things to see in the town and places to eat. Breakfast was provided as a self service idea, and was plentiful. It would be an ideal location for people who maybe want to be able to prepare some food for babies etc as it has a small fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom was lovely and clean and we slept exceptionally well on the bed. Although being right beside the Duomo I was never woken by noise of the church bells or people outside. Would really recommend it.

MmarcopM4029FYWe stopped for one night, back from the puil to break the trip and visit Orvieto. For example, if the two rooms we had booked were near, or if the above floor had no tight and tight scale, but this does not mean that the structure is not comfortable, it is very characteristic. We have not been able to dine, but breakfast, including price, was excellent and abundant and quality. The rooms are very clean furnished in a simple but comfortable and functional way. The price-quality ratio is among the best. Our view is a little superficial, dictate by the short time and unhappy weather, but if we return from those parts, we will certainly keep the location in mind.
