Faucets not working and not repaired

Our stay at the Homewood Suites was comfortable. The facilities in the suite were good. Miss Karina checked us in and was so professional and a wonderful ambassador for the hotel, however all other front desk clerks were much less helpful. For three days I asked could someone come and look at the dishwasher as it wouldn’t empty but no one came until day 4. The location is not convenient if you don’t have a car. The hotel offers 24 hour tea and coffee but for 5 days out of 8 they didn’t have any black tea. We don’t drink coffee so we couldn’t avail of this service. (We asked for teabags every day but ended up buying our own.) The breakfast was less than average, with no orange juice, cranberry juice or tea. We’ve stayed in many other Homewood Suites and this breakfast was the poorest by far of any of them. The breakfast ladies were not at all pleasant. However the tall guy at breakfast was very helpful-Thank you for being so nice. The music, which was played around the pool, began too early (6.30 am)and stopped too late (12 midnight) and was far too loud. I don’t think we would stay here again.

Homewood Suites was great. Amenities like the laundry room and the fitness room were well kept. The rooms were fine, with everything being clean. The bed was comfortable. House keeping did a great job each day, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and was varied enough to satisfy everyone in my party. Some things I didn’t like was that the pool was smaller the advertised based on the picture, the elevator old and slow. The body wash and shampoo left me feeling dry and not properly cleaned, so I bought my own. But these are minor problems. Parking is $25 a day. Overall, well worth the price, and I would definitely book this hotel again.

I can't tell you how great Aquilia the front desk agent was. She greeted me with a great smile and welcomed me. Not only that her attention to detail was on point. She is great and amazing.

Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Recommend We recently had a terrible experience at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Orlando and feel obligated to share our story. From start to finish, the stay was full of issues and poor service—not what you’d expect from a Hilton Honors property. First, the warm water didn’t work, and on one of the days, we had no water at all to shower. When we mentioned this to another guest who had been staying there for almost a week, they sarcastically said, “Good luck with the cold water!”—clearly, this has been a known issue for some time. In addition, the sofa bed in our room was broken, and the room phone didn’t work, so we couldn’t even call the front desk for help. One of our children had to sleep with a relative due to the lack of functioning beds. To make matters worse, other members of our family had to check into a different hotel altogether because they were given a room with the same water and bed issues. The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and had a terrible attitude. No one was sent to fix the broken sofa bed, and there was no apology or concern shown for our situation. The lack of professionalism and basic hospitality was shocking. We expected much better from a Hilton-branded hotel, and this experience was a major letdown. We will not be returning and strongly advise others to stay elsewhere when visiting Orlando. Chavez Family
