The hotel lobby is nice & bright and hotel offers free coffee in the morning & ice water all day. I also loved the gift shop which sells almost everything & closes quite late. There is a TGIFridays attached to the hotel & service is really good. The pool area looks nice.
The room is spacious but very dated, It damp & carpet feels a bit icky. The room also has a distinct unpleasant smell (like cleaning solution) but it does not make the room smell clean/fresh. There are not enough power outlets to plug devices. The hotel rooms & hallway need to be renovated (please remove the carpets)

When you come back, you have to walk through the parking building of Universal Studios. There is a road across the street to the hotel, but people can't pass through, so you can only go back.
