Whilst the room was adequate and it was cleaned every day and what is more there were fresh biscuits, the fact that the office was not manned and I had to ask around and dash down the road to a relation, to be able to have the number for the keypad, which allowed me to enter my accommodation , this spoiled my arrival. No one answered the telephone calls either and if it had not been for the Jewellers next door, I would have been left stranded. Attending to this would make all the difference. The position of the Chalets is very good, but when booking one needs to know whether one has a Self Catering Chalet or a Bedroom Unit

Very convenient location, with a coffee shop close by. Spectacular views of the water from Rooms. Outstanding facilities. Nicely appointed. We were in the rooms Rather than the Chalets. Appreciated The extras including fridge and toaster.

Never let's you down we had yet another grrreat stay . Chalet was spotless and the girls are great. Can't wait till we come back . Views are great and very quiet . With everything you will need in the chalet even tra,coffee and a pint of milk to settle you in. A GREAT BIG THANKYOU.

Recently renovated to a fantastic standard. Rooms are very well furnished. Location is great and the sights from the chalets are lovely. Laura is extremely helpful and made are stays there feel very welcome. Really enjoyed our stay and breakfast. Big thank you to our hosts. Highly recommended 👌

The standard of refurbishment is excellent. Staff are very careful and thoughtful. Lovely view over the water. If sunny nice grass area to sit out on. Fairly centrally placed to explore the Orkney Mainland. Had a great time

My friend and i booked two nights here in the bedroom chalets, mid June. The chalet is modern, clean, immaculately done and very comfortable. We also paid for a continental breakfast daily, which was just enough to start your day. . Our stay was excellent. It was exactly what we needed for a short break, with amazing views, perfectly placed for exploring the island and peace away from the any crowds. I will definitely come back again.

Badly designed chalet. Kitchen put together by somebody who doesn't use one. Fridge/ freezer should be full sized as there's space for one rather than the undercounter one fitted. WiFi is abysmal and keeps dropping off. The design of the kitchen, Dining and living space needs a complete rethink. The lighting is in the wrong place. The sofa is very soft and very uncomfortable and the only seating unless you sit on Dining chairs. This is our honeymoon and the chalet has severely taken the shine of it with memories we'd love to forget. If your looking to for somewhere nice to stay on the beautiful island of Orkney avoid staying here at all costs.

Great stay at Rockworks Chalets. The chalet was in immaculate condition, I couldn’t a thing. The chalets are situated in an ideal location for exploring around Orkney, and great value for money. We will definitely stay here again.
