we were overall happy with our stay! We went in unsure with it being an all inclusive (because typically we don’t like the food at all inclusives), but were pleasantly surprised. It was of good quality and taste, and there were a variety of restaurants and flavors. Booking reservations wasn’t easy for our large family of 6, but the concierge helped. The rooms were basic, but generally clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were very tight. It was nice to be able to use the sister resort Divi, because the water on the beach at Tamarijn is not great. There are a lot of slimy, sandbags and rocks, seaweed and pipes. It is always murky as well. But it is very beautiful at Divi. We loved the long boardwalk along and between both resorts. The coffee machine in the lobby was decent and the gift shop had any essentials you might need. The pool chairs looked nice and padded, but we used the beach, and those chairs were just basic. The beach also could’ve been better kept with raking ( there were cigar butts and cigarette butts which were never cleaned until I did so myself after several days of seeing them and my toddlers picking them up). It’s missing a few other luxuries like quality pillows & room service, but overall a good value for the price and a nice resort. One thing to know about Aruba itself is how windy it is. We were not aware of this until we came (but could be assumed based on their national tree shaped by the wind). It was annoying at times, especially being on the beach with the fine sand pelting you in the eyes. I’m not sure I would return for this reason as I’ve heard it is very windy all year round. You can’t hold a sun hat on and it just got to be very annoying. That’s the only negative. I could find about the place though. It otherwise is beautiful, clean safe and lovely.

My family and I just returned from the DV Tamarijin we don’t have enough good things to say about the hotel. It’s our second year in a row staying there and there’s a reason that families keep coming back here year after year. From the views, to the amenities and gym, to the restaurants, this hotel has everything you need. The best dinner we had was at Margot with an award-winning bartender who made the best drinks we’ve ever had. Not to mention the food and desserts - yum! Our kids went to the kids club every day and they were constantly asking to go back. The staff were amazing and had a ton of activities each day to keep them busy. We were all so sad that we had to leave. Dayenne and Brenda are literally the best people you’ll ever meet: caring, friendly, helpful and sincere. We will definitely be back again! :D

The restaurants are good once you get a reservation, which for the first two days is challenging. You need your room number to book, and you can only book two days out, but the food is very good. Service is friendly, and the rooms, while basic for the price are adequate. We stayed in building 21, which has an excellent rock free beach. If kids bother you, avoid this area. Likewise, if noise bothers you avoid the south end. There is a local nightclub near by and you feel the bass from early afternoon until 2pm. We made a room request for the main floor closer to the restaurants due to disability. Neither was granted and sleep has been difficult for me as I am quite noise sensitive, and nothing blocks the vibration. WE will not stay here again or recommend it. We might try the Divi, but if room locations can't be facilitated we will have to go elsewhere. It's a good resort, but they need to accomodate reasonable room requests. Not much they can do about offsite noise though.

First, I want to say we had an amazing time in Aruba. The resort was massive, but the golf cart shuttles made that much easier. Let’s start with the best parts. The food was nothing short of fantastic. The service inside the restaurants was also very good. Club Margot had the best cocktails and the bartenders there were top notch. We definitely have to give a shout out to Betsy. The entertainment was mostly disappointing, the live band was nice. The resort was well maintained and clean. Now let’s go with the not as good things. The bar service was very spotty at the other bars. The drinks were spotty as well. Not that there was not some good mixed in. The fact you could not get a drink before 11am was a little odd too. The beach was very good, but rocky in spots. Definitely not a deal breaker. So overall it was a great trip. Not sure if I would go back to this resort. Would like to see some other options first.

Kids Club: 5 stars for Dhayene, Brenda and Lisandra. Barista at Tamrjin: 5 stars, super friendly, really delicious coffee. Rooms cleanliness : 2.5 stars. Food and drinks: 4 stars. View and beach: 5 stars. Take a taxi from the airport (fixed rate, taxi drivers can't charge what they feel like). Don't bother with scheduling transportation to/from. Cheapest and easiest is taxi. If you have a good driver on the team, rent a car, otherwise buy an island trip from the Hotel Front Desk.

Tamarijn Aruba. All-inclusive but still very expensive for what you get. Tamarijn would not give us the rooms we requested many months ago. The rooms were kept clean daily. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom lights need to be brighter. The shower floor was not pitched properly and the water pooled away from the drain. The grout needs to be redone. Breakfast was tasteless. Lunch had variety but the deserts were ridiculously small. I ordered a tenderloin steak entree for dinner at the Italian restaurant. The tenderloin was close to an inch thick, but it was only around an inch and a half wide surrounded by 3 mushrooms. It was embarrassingly small for an entree. The deserts were also very small. Another restaurant just brought out a variety of food so all 7 of our group were just picking at what was brought out to include 2 deserts. This just wasted food we didn’t order or want. Barista had good coffee, pastries, and service. The alcoholic drinks were included in the all-inclusive price, but they were very weak. The Tamarijn staff at the outdoor bar near the pool would deliberately ignore guests who were trying to order drinks except for Jorge who was a good courteous bartender. My group would often go to a different bar and pay for better drinks and better service. We should not have had to do that with the money we spent for the Tamarijn. The gym was very good and the bathrooms there were very clean. The benches for the hand weights need to be wider and stronger for safety. Add a Protein Shake Bar at the gym. I did not appreciate being threatened that I would be charged $200 if I lost the Tamarijn bracelet.

Wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay here. The customer service was amazing for us- to mention a few people Guido - Doris and George at Paparazzi made the dining experience fabulous. This goes for Red Parrot as well with our server Derrick. Pure lime service and food fabulous as well. The room was spacious and comfortable . The shuttle service was helpful between resorts and anytime you wanted a ride. Thank you again! We would definitely revisit in the future.

Food and drinks we’re very good Many workers were excellent and went above and beyond. Gilbert in club Margot was great and Makayla was very nice. Jenn at the pool bar was exceptional and all the bellmen (Marino ?) were very helpful and the many golf cart drivers were appreciated.
