The radon hot springs were amazing. They warmed me up.
The rooms, the building, and the changing rooms were all meticulously cleaned.
The staff were a comfortable distance away.
The hotel is a 24-minute public bus ride from Onomichi Station, so you don't need a car.
There's a supermarket and convenience store nearby.
The hair dryer has plenty of airflow.
It would be a waste to just visit Onomichi. I recommend enjoying the hot springs at Yoro Onsen as well.

It's close to Onomichi Interchange, so if you just want to sleep, you can enjoy meals and hot springs at a reasonable price. The rooms are average for a ryokan, but the facilities are well-equipped so you won't feel inconvenienced. Meal orders are accepted for guests until 8 p.m., so you can have dinner in the large hall inside the hot spring facility. The staff are very friendly and the food came out quickly without making you wait. I'll use it again if I'm in the area. If there was a space under the eaves or somewhere else where motorcycles and bicycles could stay dry from the night dew, I'd give it 5 stars.

We stayed for two nights! The coronavirus prevention measures were perfect, which made us feel at ease. It also had a nice retro feel, and it was the first time I'd stayed at such a relaxing inn. The food was delicious, and the hospitality of the inn's staff was considerate of the coronavirus. The bath was also very good. There were some locals who came for a day trip, and they welcomed us warmly. It felt like I was back at my parents' house in the countryside, and I almost felt lonely when I checked out (lol).
