Old Mill Inn

So when I arrived, I could not check in until after the check in time because the rooms were not ready which was fine but then after I checked in my room was wide open because the room had not been cleaned yet so I decided to walk across the street to the local bar and wait an hour and go back when I went back. The room was still in the same state so I was hungry because I had driven a long ways to get there and I entered the room and decided to just sit down anyways and eat my food and the one lady who was The cleaning lady came in and asked me to leave because the road had not been cleaned yet and I let her know I had paid for the room and I needed to stay and eat, and she began cleaning the room. In which case she did not clean any of the sheets, she simply made the beds and started cleaning the bathroom and there was granola crunched all over the floor so when I finished Eating, I decided I would help her clean the room at which point I discovered there was no Windex and the vacuum cleaner did not work. She let me know that there was only two cleaning ladies, and they just didn’t have enough time to get to all the rooms and there was no Windex and the vacuum did not work. So I was horrified I could barely sleep. The whole place smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. I could barely breathe. I barely got any sleep and was happy to leave at 4 o’clock in the morning. Additionally, I took some pictures of the disgusting stain on the walls, carpeting, and the toilet paper that was stuck to the walls. While I was there helping the lady clean my room, a gentleman came to my room and demanded that the cleaning lady go back to his room and change his sheets because his sheets were stained so all in all it was a horrific experience I couldn’t go anywhere else because it was some kind of baseball bonanza and Nebraska and all the hotels were booked…

Un-pleasant and not clean The bed sheets were so thin that I could see through them. They were also stained and had hair in them. The towels also were stained. I don’t think the bed linens were washed. I slept on top of the sheets, they were that bad! Breakfast…the single guy ahead of me was holding up the line for the waffle machine. He made three waffles in a row without any concern for others. He also emptied the sausage and hashbrowns. Just wasn’t a pleasant experience overall. Missing a smoke detector.

It was inexpensive so I didn't have high expectations it was fairly clean but the floor was cracked and broken and it clearly needed some updating done.

It seems nice except the sheets are either dirty or stained really not sure, there was an empty whisky bottle left in the room and the dresser drawers keep opening by themselves all night long and you could see tape residue on them like someone else had taped them shut. They also required a $100 deposit at check-in on top of the room cost that wasn't shared when I booked and paid for the room.
