The place has declined over the last year. With just a bit more attention to detail, it would be a great place to stay. I may have to move on and fine another "go to" hotel when visiting Omaha.

Our room was clean and the customer service was great. The man at the desk tried to help me since I had my two sleeping kids and luggage. Everyone was friendly and helpful in the morning. The breakfast was fine. A good choice of cereals and some hot items as well.

We stayed here for 2 nights 3 days with our four children ages 11,9,4 and 3. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and our room was super clean. The kids had a great time at the pool, although it is quiet small. There is also a nice little workout room that is kept clean. The breakfast we thought was really good. A good variety for a complimentary breakfast! We were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again. It's only minutes away from the zoo and the downtown area. Some people have shown concern over the "neighborhood" this hotel is in. I can understand why, as there is some sort of shelter down the street etc. with alot of men hanging around etc. However we felt very safe in the hotel and it was a very good stay!

We had items taken from our room and manger treated us as if we were the guilty party. Terrible customer service. On top of that we booked the hotel at one price and were overcharged. I have made several attempts to resolve the issue both with the hotel manager and Marriot. No response from either. We have stayed in this hotel each time we visit Omaha however this along with the homeless issues and the area make it impossible for us to continue staying here. Very unprofessional management. They simply don't care. Their website states free parking however, this is also not true. Lots of issues with this hotel.

Descent location in downtown, easy reach to downtown happenings so location wise well placed. It is having good amenities, well maintained and having a decent front desk team working round the clock. Fairfield has a legacy for cozy stay and it's been maintained, serving okay breakfast items for business days.
