The hotel is not new, but looks modern and clean. The location is superb, next to the Okayama staion and Aeon mall. On the 10th floor there is public bath, thouh not natural hot spring. We liked using it after long day of walking). It really hepls to ease muscle pain. Breakfast is very good and there is a lot of space in the restaraunt.

Service was excellent. Front desk very professional. Room was fine, bed comfortable, good pillow choices, bathroom had a bath. Breakfast was very busy. Definitely want to get in early, or go late. Food was excellent.

Excellent hotel, reasonably close to the Railway Station. Room was very spacious and well-appointed. The staff were excellent, responding to any request. The hotel has information on tours and restaurants in the area. The buffet breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.

Hotel is conveniently located, you can choose to walk above or underground. Room was very very spacious, loved it. Only issue with the room is that you’ll be able to hear the train station announcements which happen very frequently, but it was not a problem for me.

Decent stay, although can be quite noisy as the walls are quite thin. Thankfully, the hotel provides free ear plugs. Breakfast is the same everyday, a bit boring for those who stay for many nights. Other than that, location wise is OK, walkable distance from Okayama Station.

The room is the size of a normal Japanese hotel. The location is excellent, close to the station and the area is very lively. You don't have to worry about having nowhere to go for shopping, eating, or even singing. The hotel itself doesn't have many facilities. There is a beverage bar in the lobby on the second floor. machine (limited time), self-service supplies, no additional breakfast, it is regrettable that there are stains under the toilet handle when entering.

SSuat NgooWe booked this hotel as we wanted a newer hotel near Okayama station. The room was the largest of the 4 hotels we stayed in Japan. The complimentary onsen, snacks, drinks and supper were plus points. In addition laundry machine was free to use, just pay 100yen for the dryer. Highly recommend to stay here!

QQingyeheihuaThe single room I stayed in had a good overall environment and was very clean. The room type is between a capsule hotel and a traditional single room. The male and female areas are separated, and you need to swipe the door card to enter. The room door is a curtain without a lock, and there is a locker with a password in the room to keep valuables. The ventilation is slightly poor, and it will be a bit stuffy when the curtain is fully drawn. There is basically no sound insulation, and it will be difficult to stand if someone in the nearby cubicle snores.
The hotel is very close to JR Okayama Station, which can be reached within a ten-minute walk (the underground street in front of Okayama Station is easy to get lost). There is a welcome drink when you check in, and you can also get a free drink every morning. The large bathroom is very good.
Overall, the price of 180 per night is suitable for people traveling alone to stay for a short time for one or two nights.

GGuest UserI have stayed at many Toyoko Inns, and this time I had the worst accommodation experience. The main reason is that the hotel is located next to the railway tracks, and there is the sound of trains passing by at night. The staff at the counter do not speak English well, and it will be difficult for non-Japanese speakers to communicate. Another is that when checking in, the hotel will inform you that if you extend your stay, you will only be provided with towel replacement and no cleaning. However, the way towels are provided is to directly ”place” large and small towels on the floor, which is somewhat unhygienic. (It is also an affordable hotel, so whether it is communication or sound insulation, there should be better choices)

QQiaobiThe location is very convenient. Just walk to the right after exiting Okayama Station, pass the Momotaro statue, and walk for another 2 minutes. AEON Shopping Mall is just 2 minutes away from the hotel through the underground passage. It is very convenient. There are MUJI and UQ supermarkets inside. There are also specials after 9pm. You can get bargains without worrying about having nowhere to go.
Okayama No. 1 Street is great for food and shopping. It's very convenient to take the tram to Okayama Castle Korakuen. There's nothing much to see in Momotaro Shopping Street, most of them are izakayas. I highly recommend staying here. I will choose to stay here again if I have the chance. It's great!

Rryoji33A few minutes walk from Okayama JR Station. There are Takashimaya and various commercial facilities next to it. It also comes with breakfast. The room is relatively large. I will consider this hotel next time I have the opportunity to go to Okayama.

A 15 min a walk from Okayama station in a nice part of town. Breakfast was very good, they also have a daily happy hour that provides free beer!

AAnonymous UserPerfect location, main station close by, convenience store just a couple minutes away. The room was also not too bad, though it wasn't entirely clean. Some dust haven't been cleaned, in mostly unnoticable places though, like really high up or behind the TV. And even though we haven't met any staff members it wasn't that hard to check in or check out. Though there was difficulty of getting inside the building, as we didn't receive the door code through email. Good thing there were some helpful residents of the hotel who helped us to get inside. Either way final score would be 8.5/10
