Nice place and easy to find, will come again, the stuff was good even we arrived late. The pressure of hot water was a little bit low.

My first impression of Snowhaven when I walked in was “this is cute”. I was travelling alone and the room was perfect for my needs. It is on the main road and the walls are thin, so be prepared to hear trucks and your neighbours. There are a few things that could be improved i.e the toilet seat was loose, but honestly not things that I consider make or break

We stayed for 1 night and it was fine for a 1 night stay where you aren’t spending a lot of time there. We had a double bed and a single and there wasn’t room for much else. Bathroom had a small corner shower, little vanity and toilet with barely enough room for a person to dry themselves. Paper thin walls meant you could hear your neighbours. In saying that, it was clean and a great location in town with everything in walking distance. In my opinion it was overpriced, but it was on par to other motels in Ohakune. If going back, I’d probably try out another motel but in all honesty they all seem to be similar.

Quite nice motel for the family.... We really enjoyed our stay.. nice selection of teas.... something different. Have storage space for snow gears.. Spacious and comfortable rooms In room heat pump is provided

The studio room we stayed in was clean with a comfortable bed. The issue with this hotel is that it is right on the main road running through the town. So if you have a room at the front (which we did) you are 10-15m away from huge trucks rumbling along all night. The room is not well insulated for sound, so unless you are used to traffic noise, you wont sleep well.

Awesome wee spot, motel was clean & tidy and there's a great walk way down the back with a stream running through. Walls are pretty thin and we could hear the TV of the neighboring room. Didn't get to meet the hosts as everything was contactless but this in no way effected out stay.

We stayed at Snowhaven Accommodation in a Mountain view room (Room 1) when we came to Ohakune to ride the Old Coach Road. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was well stocked. The shower was good, the water was hot. I had been told there was a hair dryer in our room and there wasn't, but a staff member got me one from somewhere else so no wet hair on a cold day :-) We enjoyed out stay, the staff we did interact with were friendly. We had booked a package that was accommodation and spa treatments and it was all booked accurately and worked beautifully. Would stay there again.

This place is centrally located in town. We read the reviews for this place and were pleased to be given the rooms at the back where it was quieter. Our room was quiet, and pleasantly comfortable. We had a queen bed and a bunk bed to sleep 4 people. Bunk beds were a bit small for an adult size. There was a small kitchenette with utensils provided. Our room backed onto the river pathway that leads to the Ohakune Adventure Park. We had a pleasant stroll to the park.

Total contactless service so never engaged directly with staff. But communication was excellent as was our accommodation - could not ask for more. Unit was very clean and quiet, and just as described.
